    in a cave, eh?
    Recommendations for a good e-cig.

If you need something that looks like a cigarette, consider a Volt (KR808D-1) by Smokeless Image. You can get them with either a manual battery or an automatic battery. The manual battery has a slightly easier draw; you might find the automatic battery a little more convenient. Consider getting a system with one of each type. There are 3 sizes of batteries, the longest one lasts longer. You generally find you're charging your batteries several times a day with this system.

A system with a bigger battery will save you from having to recharge it as often. Consider a Riva 510, Ego, or E-Power from Liberty-Flights. The E-Power is the biggest model, but if you go with the model with the 18650 battery, you'll get ridiculous battery life. Another feature of the bigger battery models is that you can try low-resistance atomizers or cartomizers with them and they will give you more vapour and flavour.

Another big battery model to consider is the Echo. It gives a warmer vape than the other systems and holds a lot more e-juice. The battery is compatible with the Volt (KR808D-1) cartomizers.

The batteries are rated in mAh. Typically a 650 mAh battery may require charging once or twice a day depending on how much you vape. Or longer if you're a casual smoker.

There's more, but I imagine you'll already have questions.

This looks like the first pv I tried. First, are you sure it's out of battery (does the tip blink?) - and not out of juice (no vapor could just mean time for a new cartridge, though it could mean the atomizer (middle part) flooded and needs to dry out - or... It could mean the battery got liquid in it and fried the battery (all of which happened to me at one point or another with those).

Second, if the battery discharged too quickly it could mean that it wasn't fully charged to begin with. The ones I bought only shipped with a partial charge - so upon opening I was only able to get about a half hour out of them.

As to answer the original question (and not try to delve too much more into what could actually be going on with your unit) I was usually able to get between one and two hours of use (my vaping habits (how long I drag/"toot"/puff or whatever you call it - and how often) will probably be different from yours (so even though it's an inaccurate marker of measurement, it is a marker none the less - and gives you something to go by).

Btw, I graduated to a riva after less than a week of use of this type of e-cig/pv (the sooner the better for me). I went to what I thought was an ego (but is actually probably a riva), which in my opinion are the best e-cig/pv kits for someone new to vaping to utilize. Most Internet sites have deals and specials and I see them anywhere between $35 (where I got mine - no longer on sale) and $80... I would look for around $55 shipped if your interested in that kind of pv. (since using a manual switch, I really really dislike automatic batteries)...

Anyway, hope I helped a lil...

That battery is rather short, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it leaves you wanting more. If you really like this model, it looks like a m402 if you need any parts, but I suspect you'd probably happier with other models like the 510/306, a "fatter" battery like the eGo or big battery mods, or a 2-piece like the KR-808D1

Yes....when it's out of Battery, the tip blink 5 times.......and the rechargeing time is 90 mins....and worst of all, the refill cartridge only can take ard 40 puffs instead of the 150 puffs stated on the manual....:(

And the cost is RM$70.00 for a set. Refill is RM$20.00

I have briefly experimented with refilling the cartridges of these. You may want to it try to ease the burden of the new cost of cartridges.

Here's what I did: took a pair of tweezers to the inside of the cartridge, grabbed the plastic bottle (not really a bottle - more like a very small capsule) with foil on the top (that is inside of the cartridge) and pulled it out. I then peeled off all of the foil. Inside of the bottle is a wicking substance... Some kind of cottony fluff that most cartridges use (there isn't much of it in these things). I absorbed the liquid that was in the wick by placing it on a folded paper towel and dabbing it with another piece of paper towel. I then dumped the remaining liquid that was in the bottle (even though I couldn't vape more then 40 or so puffs -for some reason there was always still liquid in the little bottle). I then placed about 8 drops of e-juice/liquid in the bottle (about all it will hold), and then gently replaced the wick in the bottle (trying to keep it near the top). After that I used the tweezers to place the bottle back in the cartridge.

I only slightly experimented with this. So my wicking material was only used twice. I don't think I got as many puffs out of the cartridge after the refill either. But, at 8 or so drops per refill of the cartridge I'm pretty sure it's cheaper then spending money on a new pack of cartridges every time...

Hope it might help ya somewhat :/

I think you should jump to the eGo or Riva at Libertylfights, the 20% off coupon on the upper left part of the website and you can get 650mah, 100mah = about 1 hour of vaping and it also comes with a 900 mah and 1100mah, good battery life and 510 atomizers so they are easy to buy and universal. I started with a simlar kit and within a week or so bought the eGo, sorry but that is my best advice. Welcome to ECF!
