Well my name is Sal and I am kinda new to E-cigs. Couple of guys at work been messing with them for a lil over a year and now I am. For now I am working with a standard 510 cart. Once I get more used to it I plan on doing a few things this is just to start me up. I smoke newports and am trying to stop so I am looking at this as a way to cut back and as a hobby since that are always advancements and new stuff coming out for it. Hopefully I can learn from here and contriboot too.

Some people quit all at once and some people, like me, are cutting down and making a slower move towards quitting. I cut down by half of my 2+ PAD habit immediately. So, in one month on Sept 11th, I will have smoked at least 600 less ciggies than prior to vaping. On top of that, I got to vape in my friend's car and it was so nice not to be squeezing cigarettes in on the walk into the stores and the restaurant. I can vape and not feel deprived. So nice.

I know that I will keep smoking less and less and vaping more and more. Enjoy!!!!

I've never been one to preach or direct anyone else on how to do things. As everyone's motto here seems to be, "Whatever works best for you."

However, reading what you wrote about vaping and smoking together made me wonder about your commitment to stop smoking altogether. I'm probably "reading" way too much into this and its certainly none of my business. I'd be the last person to tell you what to do.

Having said that :p , once you've found a juice or two that you really like, I'd recommend that you primarily vape most of the time, and limit the cigs to a few a day, and gradually limiting those on a continued basis with the aim to quit them altogether. That's how it often works, anyway. The cigs eventually begin tasting like the nasty things that they are, and they will begin to disgust you.

Having vaping as a hobby seems to improve one's chances of success. :thumb:

Just my :2c: I'm happy for you that you've taken this step so far, and wish you all the luck. Keep on :vapor:

Welcome to ECF illz88. I am glad to hear you have decided to vape instead of smoking. Even if at first it helps you cut down on the analogs.
My :2c: read. There is a ton of information and it can be overwhelming. I actually had attempted using a PV in the past and it just didn't do enough for me. I am still currently an analog smoker, but as soon as the rest of my orders arrive in the mail I am leaving the analogs behind.
Good luck and happy vaping
