Congtrats!!! It is no small thing to quit after 40yrs. I recently lost my father due to alcoholism and its hard to think somebody would rather die than give up an addiction, i didnt want to be that person also so i gave up cigs and cut down drinking. Im sure you have done loads of homework on vapeing, I spent many many hours on the interweb learning all I could. This site was extremely helpful and I eventually joined as I wanted to reply to a post. I have yet to find any .....ing everybody seems to have one goal in mind and that is to help others enjoy the vapeing experience. I would strongly recommend the vapers handbook, its a very comprehensive Q & A and covers anything you could ask with youtube vids as well. :vapor:

Wow glad to see your doing good. I'm only a week ahead of you. Once I got away from the tobacco flavors I didn't want to go back. I threw out my tobacco flavored juice. I still have some cigars around but will give them away to a friend when I can remember to bring them. LOL
I have a group of friends and one of us started vaping and now it's up to 4. I have been working on a couple others to get them off the fence.
There was a friend of the family that died a long time back. She was a 2 pad smoker for a really long time. In the end she was in an Oxygen tent. She would throw such a fit for a cig that they would remove the tent and after a safe amount of time let her smoke to shut her up. Now I doubt they would let them do that now but that is how bad her addiction was.
That is how insidious addictions are. There is a mental and physical component to the thing. You have to satisfy both to bet it.

I can completely relate to your story. I watched my grandfather pass from lung cancer. My mother was a 50 year smoker herself and now has severe COPD and emphysema. My mom and I both quit cold turkey 2 months ago and havent looked back. We are both loving it and have turned into vape enthusiasts since. One of us gets vape mail daily. Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you well. ♥♥
My mom has dialed her nic % from 24 to 12 also so she plans to reach zero soon.
