Hi to all bros and sis, I'm relatively new here. Got my Ego-C from K** last week. I have a few questions and hope you guys can help me :)

1) I find it very different from smoking the real ciggies as in after 1 or 2 puff, i feel uncomfortable on my throat...like its quite thick or what. I'm currently using 12mg juice given by the package I got it. Is it because I'm using a cheap set compare to those expensive one like ProVari?

2) Does you guys puff as if you are smoking a normal ciggies or you puff 1 or 2 times then stop for 15mins then puff again?

3) This question has been removed because it's against the rules here. - Xanthon

Btw, Happy New Year to all of you :)

Awesome
Firstly,welcome to the family:)

1. vaping is very different from smoking. You take long drag instead of short ones, something like smoking sheesha. If you feel uncomfortable on your throat, perhaps down your nicotine level to 6-8mg.And no,it's not because you are using cheap set,you just have not find your perfect setting yet like your favourite flavor/nicotine level etc..

But it also really depends on what atty you are using,i know the stock one they have sucks to the max.

2.We take long 5-10seconds drag, for starter perhaps you can try 3second?And some of us chainvape like i can finish 8ml of 6mg juice in around 1-2hours.

3. OPEN your eyes big big.

Btw, Happy New Year to all of you :)

bro, dun get too worried about not taking long drags.. I used to be envious of e senior vapers who can drag for <10seconds n produce thick clouds of vapor while I'll cough n choke when I try to drag too deep - I suspect y're going thru e same stage..

personally I find that it's a 'learning curve' to change from smoking n vaping.. u draw yr air in differently.. I was puffing '..... vapors' for more than 3 months b4 I finally 'graduated'. :D

n believe me, I was using 'high-end-stuff' n still e vapors r mediocre n it feels like I'm doing something wrong, someone else takes e over n puffs out shiok shiok COV - it's frustrating. :c

so I say, dun be too worried it, adjust yr juice mg n vg/pg n try new flavors until its comfortable for u, n puff in a way that's the most comfortable for u.. it's unfortunate our country's environment does not allow us to openly share experiences/resources thus, making everything so much more difficult.. I actually tried vaping more than 2yrs ago but gave up n went back to analogs cos I din know where to get info to betta my experience..

but now I got to know a bunch of great guys n I'm not looking back..! ;)

vaping is about the satisfaction, not the vapors,

if u hang in there long enuf n manage to find nice pals who r genuinely willing to guide u ( n not cos they're trying to fleece u!) it'll only get better from here!

vape on!!

Give it some time, you will adjust automatically to a vaping method that suit you.
For me, if I am vaping a juice that has a higher Throat hit than I like,
I will do a long slow draw and hold it into a ball in the mouth then inhale it.
You will discover different technique along the way.
Just don't continue doing something that make you uncomfortable.

and also, you can chain vape continuously, no need to wait 15min between vape. :2cool:

Ohh okay. I will see if i can find any other PV that I can learn, very hard to find :(

I think your current setup is good enough. No need to look for expensive mod to have the "Vaping Experience"
Rather spend the money to get a nice e-juice that you like.
This is what that is going to keep you from going back to cigarette.

Thanks brother XoloX for your guidance. I just changed to watermelon flavour, much better than the coke. Tried out many ways of vaping, i discover that vaping vertically suits me better than horizontal. Btw, does the wick affect the vaping experience? Cause i was washing my Atty and there were 3 strings of wick but 2 of them broken off and I left with one :(

From my experience, as you will also find out later that "wicking" of the juice is very important.
if the juice does not get transferred to the coil efficiently, you will get dry burn, which basically mean vape that is tasteless or some case "awful".
In your case, if the string breaks off in the middle and not near the top, it will still wick as long as you tilt your PV horizontally once in a while to let the juice soak the wick.
But if the strings breaks at the top, I think it is good indication that it is time to change to a new coil.

I think you meant to say dry hit. Dry burning is another process altogether.
