I am getting annoyed.

I purchased the Version 2 of this device and it came in today.
It looks really nice and solid. Light chrome with chrome buttons. I bought the Joye 2200mAh Unprotected 18650 Li-ion Batteries that are recommend. Just wished it worked as good as it looks.

The battery is very loose in there. The v2 is suppose to have the longer spring? Not sure if this came with the longer spring or not because i don't really have any reference. It may be that the spring is not thick enough to hold the battery in place. I have to hold it very steady otherwise it will lose connection and cut off. Any twirling, flipping, shaking or sitting it down on the table will trigger it to lose connection and will turn off.

Just a little annoying right? Well keep in mind that you have to reset everything when you turn it on and it starts to get more annoying.
Plus, there maybe possible safety issues with a loose battery.

Any thoughts on this or how to fix it? This is my first mod and i had high hopes for it. :(

How about putting a magnet on the battery?

Thanks for the tip bineva17 :)

The nail, needle,or pin(i think that might be the right english term) trick works great. The pins, while small as needles, have heads on them(opposed to needles) so when they are pushed inside past the opening they have a levering effect that pins the battery against the wall.
I'm sure i wont like having to remove the pins and reinsert them when i change the battery, though. So we still would like a actual fix.

How would i find a nice sturdy spring or spring cap that would fit this? I really don't want to have to solder anything.

Edit: This is assuming that i was supplied with the v2 end cap with the "long spring" considering i purchased the v2 of the ego variable wattage mod from health cabin.

Looking at that battery on HC it isn't the top nipple type, there could be why you have this problem.
If you used the MR AW18650 battery I would say there would be no problem

I guess its possible. but the battery i have does have a nipple on it, its not that pronounced but it is there. i'm thinking this is going to need a few milimeters(2-3) added to have a secure fit.

I changed a new coil head and test with a single 18350 trustfire battery again and it worked, working well like it had done the first time I hold it in my hand. Then after hours it stopped working with that coil head, forever, like the other coil heads it did work with.

What a strange story!

This thing is very Chineseeeeeeeeeeeee!

So the APV is not working or your atomizer quit working?

The APV works with a new head coil ONCE and after hours it never works with that head coil again. But the coil still performs well with my itaste or twist. So I find this very strange issue.

I may call this a "head coil destroyer". Totally worth it.
