I received my order of HV510 atties today.
They are noticeably different from a batch of HV510 bought previously.
The hole is smaller and there is about 1/16th of an inch protrusion from the battery connection end.
The bridge appears to be larger with a metal ring around it.
The weight also feels different, more substantial.

So far, what I have noticed is that is seems to seat better in my mod, making a firmer connection. It also produces tons more vapor than my previous HV510's.
It's just working a 100 times better than previous HV510's.

I'm really impressed and pleased with the performance of these atties.
Thank you!

Hey 316lvm,
What voltage have you tried running them at and what's the best for you?
I've got some from my last order but just haven't had the time to try them yet.

@skish - I'm using them on 5v mods - the Saber Touch 510 connection 5V and the GLV with a 901 to 510 adapter 5v. Also hooked one up to a 510 USB passthrough via a 5volt charger plug in.
These are definetly performing better than the last batch HV510. My batts are lasting longer too. I think that there wasn't a solid connection between atty and batts and the batts were draining faster than they should have been. Or it might have been that the resistance was wonkers.

Out of the last 15 - HV510's I purchased about 2-3 months ago, only 1 is left and it barely produces any vapor. 14 are dead. Which is unusual for me. My first set of regular 901's lasted about 6 months. The regular 510's about 4 months.

Update on HV510 atties.
Oct. 30 received order of HV510 atties.
Began using atty on a 5v Saber Touch mod, drip method, Dekang 24mg juice.
First 2 days, excellent vapor production, then vapor production decreased.

Nov. 8 - 1st atty died. Total of 10 days use.
One minute vapor production, next, nothing.
Tested with multimeter, yep, it's dead.

Cleaning methods used while vaping 1st atty: At night, blow out any juice, stand on batt connection end, let drain overnight.

Nov. 8: atty #2 in use.
5v Saber Touch, direct drip, Dekang 24mg juice.

Will be updating on atty #2.

UPDATE ON #2 ATTY HV510:

Nov. 16, 2010, 2nd atty died. Same routine, only this time switched between 5v Saber Touch and USB passthrough. This atty lasted 8 days.

I know I probably don't have enough data and my math sucks, but the way I'm figuring it, I'm going through an atty a week.
At $3 an atty x 4 weeks = $12 a month on atties
4 atties a month

For some people, that's not bad. I guess I was expecting HV atties to last longer than a week since HV atties were designed to last longer on high volt devices.

Your right, your math really does suck.
Please don't mention the $17 (highest S&H that I know of) nonrefundable shipping charge on every order.

"$3 attys" sounds great until you factor in all of the other wonderful things you get for FREE with each order:
1) Outrageous nonrefundable shipping charge
2) Unknown and unreliable - quality & functionality issues
3) Playing Russian Roulette with customs every order
4) Two week waiting time to US
5) Totally brutal return policy procedure (You really have to experience this to comprehend it)
6) Dealing with customer service representatives who very rarely have any understanding of the English language what so ever

I'm sure there are others but who cares at this point.
These people are just not your friends.

Bottom Line:
If you honestly believe that these atomizers only cost $3 apiece, then I'm not going get anywhere explaining it to you.
Its a lot like trying to get EM product information out of Di.
