new Iclear 30 S wont connect to SVD?? *...*

So I buy a Iclear 30 S thinking it would have no problem with the SVD because it's made by the same company. But I was wrong! The only way I can get it to work is to remove the bottom cap and put it on the SVD so it gets a good connection, and won't display "non" like it will do with the cap on. So stupid, why would they make a better verwion of a tank that came with the SVD that doesnt work on it...blows my mind in a bad way . Anyone that has had this problem or knows of a fix please help! Thanks!!

Just tried the 30S on my SVD. I did not get the "non" message, the SVD reads it at 2.0 and fires it with no problem.

That does help because now i know there is probably something wrong with it bit just seems like it wont fully screw down all the way thus not letting it connect...

I've not had any issues with the new tanks on my SVD however, those that tend to over-tighten their tanks to the max can do damage to the SVD, just as you can the Vamo and various other mods.

Over time, the center pin gets shoved down in there and as a result, not all tanks get a solid connection which results in the NON reading. I never tighten anything down more than just enough to where it doesn't move, but takes zero force to remove. Anything more is too tight and you run this risk of damaging not only the pin but the threads too.

Yeah I think that may be the problem...any way to pull the pin out a little bit without breaking it, or do I just need to buy a new battery compartment? Thanks for the help..

Use small screwdriver or tweezers to pull it out few mm. Spring under center pin is bad on svd...
