hey guys there is prob a million threads on this but having some issues with the iclear30. the 1.8ohm head that came with it doesnt seem to wick properly. i am using the iclear on the itaste svd. i get a burnt flavor wont wick much bad vapor production. bought some additional 2.5ohm heads when i bought the iclear30 as well. one of those heads has malfunctioned and wont fire on the device anymore. reads 1.1ohms and a error happens on both my vamo and the svd. so what gives here? running the 1.8ohm at 3.7-4.0v and no dice. i havent opened the other 2.5 heads just wondering if there is a trick to get these things rolling properly. i have been having some really bad luck with devices lately.

when i used them, they seemed to wick too well. the wicks soaked up half the tank as soon as i filled it, then i had to top it off. is it possible you are firing at a higher voltage than whats being displayed? i would throw the batt. on a meter and test fire it to see what it says compared to the display.

It seems like the heads I got sucked. I tried a other one and it see a to be wicking a lot better. 2/5 so far have been bunk and one coil popped on one of the 2.5phm heads. The batts are good. The heads need extra power because of the duel coils. I am running the 2.5ohm at 4.6 seems to be doing well for now on this new head.

I've had multiple heads that would not fire on my MVP.. i dunno, at first the iclear30 was my goto.. now its becoming way more of a hassle..

they seem great at first, Now have leaking problems, the heads not lining up correctly with the top piece which means juice leaking out the top mouthpiece too

when they work good I love them, but that seems to be hit or miss with the 3 I have now

I got an iclear30 about a month ago to try out. It lasted 5 hits. Tasted great on those first few hits, then the coils shorted, and tank cracked. Tossed it.

I got a protank at the same time, I want to like it (it is very aesthetically pleasing), but have yet to get that metallic/oil/something taste out of it. I just keep going back to my modified nova.

So after a bunch of trial and error, I think I've figured out what people are talking about with the gurgle on the iclears. The metal mouthpiece causes some of the vapor to condense on the inside. This condensed vapor drips down around the silicone pass-through plug at the top of the coil unit and causes a little gurgle. So, when I'm topping off, I wipe the excess away from the top of the plug. Seems to have solved the problem for me. Anyone else want to give it a shot?

Also, wingman, I run mine at between 10 and 11 watts myself. My Vamo handles it just fine all day without having to change batts. What's your battery size?

The iclears have a few quirks, but once discovering them and avoiding them, they're the best clearo in my book. Best flavor, draw and warmth of vape.

The Protnak gave me more inconsistent results than the iclear16s or 30s, and the Protanks are now collecting dust, while I just ordered another 5 pack of coils for both 16 and 30s.

get a puritan and use your own drip tip(or the new protank 2- but the puritank is better(better draw).

I love my iClear 30 on my Zmax, but I was having some problems with it NOT wicking. My draws were getting weaker and weaker. Then I noticed when I filled it last night that it seemed "loose" - sure enough, I dumped the juice and took the iClear apart and when I unscrewed the bottom piece the entire thing came apart. All I can think is that when I unscrew the top to refill, it must be unscrewing the inside part too. I tightened it a little tighter than finger-tight and seems great now.
