New in Nashville

Greetings! I just bought my first vape setup yesterday. Innokin starter kit with 2 batteries, 5 of the iClear16 tanks and charger for $60 at a local store here in Nashville.

I've tried the cartridge ecigs in the past but hated them. I've only smoked 3 of my Marlboros since I started vaping yesterday and I have to say they tasted kind of awful. I think I can probably kick that habit but I'm afraid it's the start of a new addiction.

Anyway, hello to everyone. Any tips, tricks or good deals please let me know. I'm already seeing that I'm going to need to upgrade the batteries.

Welcome to the ECF! I LOVE Nashville! People obviously relate it with country music but there is all kinds of music being played there. I've got family in Greeneville and Knoxville and I always have to get in to see some great live music.
Sounds like you got yourself a decent kit to start with. When I started I still smoked for @ a month and cut down my tobacco use to about 2 a day. You're right, they do taste awful.
Taste is very subjective and right now your taste buds are trying to correct themselves after all that time smoking. Personally I really like all of the 100% VG Red Oak line of juices from Johnson Creek and I like the desert/fruity/drink flavors from EC Blend. There are a lot of different vendors under the forum suppliers tab at the top of the page. Whatever vendors you order from start out with smaller sample bottles before ordering the bigger ones. That way you'll save some money and get a better idea of what you like and don't like.
Also, drink plenty of water. Especially when you're first starting out. Vaping actually dehydrates you so up your fluid intake.

Great advice. I did get the setup at Nashville Vapors. I also checked out a store called Magical Vapors. I found a flavor there that I like so much I went back the following day and bought a large bottle of. It's Peach Menthol flavor, Tonic brand. The 12mg I got at Nashville Vapors evidently isn't the right strength for me. I'm doing much better with the 18mg. I still have the pack I opened 4 days ago with about 5 cigarettes left.

I had a few analogs here and there for the first couple weeks too but it sounds like you're off to a great start. It gets much easier as time passes and you find that "groove" in your set-up. Welcome to the forum's!

It's a hobby that justifies spending alot of money on gadgets. And specially in the beginning you'll probably spend more than you did on cigs. If you get into the higher end mods...well...I'll let you find out for yourself
