Got my order today! :) A few minor problems...

Just got my new Indulgence end caps today (titanium) and they don't seem to work on my silver Indulgence. No vapor or sizzle at all. One got stuck on there so hard I had to use pliers to get it off. Even the ones that screw on OK don't give any vapor at all with atties that work with silver end caps. What's up with that?
2 out of 8 LR801 atties are DOA. :(

Both 510 and 901 carts/mouthpieces are so lose on the 901LR atties they almost fall off. One came off in my mouth... hahaha  What are we supposed to use? Do the 901 Riva flat carts fit better? Don't know that I want to hit the atty with a hammer to flatten it a little. No, I don't think I wanna go there! :D Any other suggestions?

My 2 silver Indulgence end caps are interchangable... The new ones don't seem to make contact as there is no airflow/sizzle whatsoever. It's weird actually. Maybe I have to get a titanium button unit for it to work? But that seems far fetched.

I think it's called Noalox... or something like that. I forget to look for it... haha

P.S. This is the first time EVER in almost a year and bunches of orders that I have received DOA atties. Pretty good track record! :)

That is not good news blue. :( I have the old style indulgence, Titanium and Silver. (The ones with the interchangeable connectors, not caps) Everything on these two work fine from one to the other.

I doubt that the issue is to do with the different switch units, but you never know.
Is the copper spring top on the switch unit making contact with that of the connector portion?

--- Hi Blu ----
The only thing I can think of that the power is not getting transferred properly

can you try cleaning the threads --
maybe some factory stuff on threads stopping the power thru ??
or maybe the Titanium finish is in the threads ??

other than this, --
you can contact CS and we see what they say ------

PS -- does it all work together as the Titanium kit ????

Oh My , --- yes, these carts are always loose on other attys
except for the LR510 they seem nice and tight on these.

I think it is to do with milimeters of difference in the making of the attys,
a milimeter can seem like a mile when your cart falls off - hahaha

try squeezing the end of the cart-- carefully,
just enough to disfigure the end, this should make it fit tighter.

My carts fit tight into the LR510 and loose to the 901 also-

a risky fix -- but one I use ---

- NOT RECOMENDED BY EASTMALL ----

I burn the end for a few seconds with a cigarette lighter,
and just touch it with the lighter - where it is heated, --
and this makes it fatter, and tighter fit -----

- NOT RECOMENDED BY EASTMALL ----

as i said Blu-- contact CS for your problem if you cannot fix it-

the hammer sounds good as a last resort -- hahahhahahahhahahahaa

and of course for your DOA attys.

I can't tell whether it's making contact or not but it's screwed on as far as it will go!

Yes, good idea to check this -- thanks BartS -------

Have a look at the connector pin on the top of the button section --

then look at the power connector on the thread cap,

do they look like they will line up ???????

if no fixxy -- contact CS Blu -----

Oh yeah, they line up OK and screwed on as far as they will go... nothing. Put back on my silver endcaps and vapor galore. None of the titanium work. I think I read somewhere else here once that they were having the same problem. Anyone remember where that was posted? - I think maybe I have to buy a titanium button unit for it to work... That's gonna have to wait awhile though. :(

I dropped a note in the Online Support box. The other link Contact Us get a Send Fail error... What to do?

the only thing i cAn say is send to

Customer Service email :- support@eastmall.net

tell Joy you have got only the new Titanium threadcaps
and does not work with your older silver button section -----

so there could be a compatibility issue

this is a new run, new batch with slightly different specs,
so should be used thread caps and button section together.

I will ask David to announce that this version maybe not be compatible with the previous older versions of Indulgence
and the new threadcaps and button section should be purchased and used together .

altho as I stated in this post back on July 27th-----------

I just got off the video phone with David,

he showed me the new button and new threads, with the old Indulgence, and mixed and matched,

aside from some little difficulty in screwing them together some times, - new threads etc, - they worked perfectly--

so maybe there are just a few bad ones out there??

any ways,

we discussed, and David said, try to screw it well together to make sure of good connections,

then if still no good,

please contact Customer Service for return and replacements.

thank you guys -

yes, this is the problem -----

here is a pix
of the button sections

first my lovely drawing of it -- hahaha

and here my lovely fuzzy photo- my camera skill is very bad, hahahaha

Buttonsectionshowingconnectorpin.jpg

you can clearly see that one will connect cos its pin sticks up

the other is recessed, and so cannot connect ----
unless the threads have a sticking up pin to reach down in there to connect to it.

I have 4 Indulgence set ups like the first one, and have no problems with the new button section and or the new threadca[ps on all of them.

I have one where the button section is recessed like this second pix -
and the new threadcaps do not connect ------------

there ya go --

Investigation complete,

sherlock Di has triumphed,
if your button section has a recessed connector pin

the new threadcaps will not connect, - cannot reach - hahaha
you will need the a button section with a sticky uppy connector pin ---
to use the new threadcaps.

tell Joy you have got only the new Titanium threadcaps
and does not work with your older silver button section -----
because your connector pin on your button section is recessed - (set down below the top level)

I have discusses this with Joy extensively- she and I agree this is the problem,
so she will know what you mean if you say this -------

My silver button connector pin is not recessed. It sticks up above the edge like your #1 drawing. About 1mm I'd say or maybe a fraction less. That aside, you did a really good job of explaining and your pic finally connected with my brain... hahahaha

Maybe it sticks up more on the new button units? I mean, maybe mine doesn't stick up enuff...

Edit: I looked again and compared with your picture. Mine doesn't stick up as much as yours.. hahaha Gonna try taking a picture.
