Yes it still locks in place.....Make sure you turn it the right way to open and close. If you force it I guess you can break it.

Ya, I was careful with both tanks not to force anything; especially with the 2nd one. It could be that I got too duds in the a row, but what are the odds.

And my final update, because now I'm 100% done with this tank....my juice got a bit low and I turned it sideways while holding it just to sort of check how much juice was left- and juice poured straight out of the airflow. As if there was no pressure and I was just pouring a cup of water down the sink.

This is the first time I've ever considered just throwing 2 tanks in the garbage.

Wow sorry you having so many problems... I tried putting it down on its side....left it for 30 mins no leaks.
Have gone thru like 10 tanks already on the same coil... I am loving the claptin coils.

Yeah, I wonder if it has something to do with the my top caps not keeping the pressure. Who knows. But glad it's working for you!
