I'm happy to have found this forum. I'm enjoying reading the reviews and people's first hand comments about the various systems.
I've been vaping for almost a year now I guess. I used to be a light to moderate cigarette smoker (less than 10 per day) but quit those a couple years ago. My family was going through a pretty stressful time and I was realizing that I was either going to start smoking again or become a heavy drinker but I didn't really want to pick up tobacco again and certainly didn't have the luxury to have a cocktail when ever I wanted.
So I bought a Mark10 starter kit with the Menthol and Tobacco flavor cartridges to see if that would do the trick. And it's worked pretty well so far, despite so many reviews saying otherwise. I found a YouTube tutorial on how to refill the cartridges with your own juice so I've been doing that and have been pretty happy with my results.
My DH vapes too. He goes through juice a lot faster than I do, but he used to have a wad of dip in his mouth almost 24-7 previously. I'm so happy that he doesn't do that nasty junk anymore! He's also cut down on the nicotine strength of his juice over time. He uses a modifiable system with the tanks and batteries but I don't like the style of pen where you have to push a button, and I like the compactness of my Mark10s. Plus I signed up on their site and am getting coupons sent to me every couple months or so.
