so ive read around and know that the istick20 has aluminum threads. lots of people complaining they went bad and whatnot.

my issue - my istick is still pretty damn new BUT only the ego connector will thread on. if i use any other 510 and try to thread it onto the istick directly, it gets one turn and then locks up as if i have to "tap and set" a new set of threads.

should i just atempt to screw things on, even if i have to force it? - i can thread a 510 atty into the ego conector and then connect the ego conector no problem almost like butter. but i dont like that unnessicary added height...

is there anything i can do? i even tried cleaning the istick threads thinking its dirty... but its not. --- all of the 510 atties im atempting to use are also BRAND new. so they have never ben used and do not have dirty threads either...

instead of the eGo adapter, someone suggested I use one of these:

tank_510_airflow_525dd4ef98744.jpg

much lower profile and does the job. found one at sweet-vapes to add to my order: Tank 510 Airflow Controller

I only purchased once from eBay but I heard you could complain to eBay that the seller is selling crappy product and you can request refund. Just google eBay return policy or something. I am not sure though, good luck.

its not like the seller knew that the sealed istick box was going to have crap threads. if it was a used istick then sure, but it was brand new - eleaf is responsible for it not ebay nor the seller.

but because i got it from a "third party" eleaf wont honnor a warenty - much like all other vaping companies.

Because its a vape product, selling it technically violates ebay's TOS so they are not going to issue any sort of refund.

Ebay will return your money if the product is deficient, regardless of who manufactured it.....this is the sellers responsibility. File a claim, you'll get your money back after you return the product to the seller. Save all communications (emails).

Legally sellers are responsible for the items they sell, regardless of whether they could have known of issues or not. Many merchants try to tell you it's a warranty issue, but they sold you the item and they are responsible if the item is not suitable for it's intended purpose. The merchant can then try to seek reimbursement from the manufacturer or their supplier after they give you a refund or exchange.
