Okay thanks guys, that's what I wanted to hear. I'll order from Cignot. In the meanwhile, how good is joyetech's customer service with replacements?

I think I'm gonna get the wood one this time.

Joyetechs service is slow, mailed mine for replacement the monday before xmas and haven't heard a word, and no answer to 3 messages I've left , this is my 2nd replacement. Have called cs 9 times and no one answers, just get the leave a message, no one has called or emailed. Next one I buy will be from cignot.

I have had one for about 1 day.. I am diggin this lil booger. The stock coils are ehh... but with the rba base. My daily drivers are a IPV3, raptor 120 watt with mechs for seasoning. All I run are Veritas rdas. The egrip with the rba base has a similar experience to a Veritas builted 1.2 ish ohms on a regulated mod. Not quite the same flavor monster but its dang good and crazy convenient. I find its less picky on wicking than the kayfun making it easier to wick. Only issue so far has been a ever so slight gurgle if its been sitting. I am a massive chain vapor and this thing keeps up. I have not put my own coil in it yet but after 30 mins using what looks like Japanese cotton (Three prebuilt coils are included with the cotton) I re-wicked with rayon and have been loving this thing since.

+10 for the Rayon... I'm loving it!

Same here, rayon works great with this RBA.

I wonder if there really is a way to flush the tank thoroughly and safely?

I like scarf-ace's method. This way you can't get liquid into places it shouldn't be.

I usually vape juices with similar flavor profiles so I've never felt the need to clean the tank. But I did it anyway, and it was too easy: use a syringe to squirt 2mls of water through the feed hole, close lid, shake, and use the same syringe to suck the water out. Done.

BTW I checked battery capacity, I got one and a half tanks before the light started the slow blinking, so still some more in reserve. Impressed! Thats around 5.4ml plus more in reserve per battery charge.

I also got some silicone covers for my eGrip and the Japanese leather covers.
I go out I put the leather on and use a matching trippy tip. When I'm at home screwing around, the silicone goes on with a cherry vape wide mouth tip...
Where did you get the ... covers may i ask?

Cignot all the way for me. I'd buy from them even it costs a few bucks more just to know I'll be taken care of if anything goes wrong with my device. And it did.

Don't think cignot can guarantee you won't have probs but YOUR probs will end there. Vicky will treat you right.

This has also been my experience.

Sorry to hear that. I hope it comes back to life for you.

It hasn't come back to life, and don't really expect that it will. Although the mod didn't actually cost me anything, I'm fairly disappointed with my stupid mistake, as I could have seen myself enjoying it.

However, if I couldn't get the remanants of the old flavor out of it, I wouldn't have used it long anyway. And now knowing that it is difficult/impossible/dangerous to try and clean an old flavor out of it, I'd never consider buying a replacement.

OK – School me on wicking. This is my first RBA. I picked up the RBA base for the egrip yesterday and I could vape at 20 watts with the wick and coil that came with it. I decided to change the wick last night just to see how it’s done. My first few attempts burnt pretty quickly. Now I’m able to make a wick that works good to about 11 watts. I get a slight burnt taste past that point. Does anyone have any picks of a good re-wicked coil for this RBA? do you fill the chimney or stuff the wick down in the base?
I did dry burn the coil and it looks clean.
Thanks
JJK

I place the wick before I put on the chimney - just cut it long enough that it hits the channel (see the size of the ready made wicks in the coils). When I put on the chimney I made sure the wick covers the two closest holes. If your wick is too thin and isn't making contact with the coil it will burn.

Cignot is where I ordered my first 510 kit almost 5 years ago. They have always done me right and I order from them whenever they stock the product I'm looking for. In my mind there is no more reputable vendor.
