When then tank is empty, remove the 4 small torx screws and you can pull the entire tank out and clean it. That way there is no chance of getting water in the device. Shouldn't affect warranty as there is no glue or anything on the top cover that would indicate it has been removed. Just remember the pointy screws go on the button side.

I would like an adapter too but don't see who sells them yet. I was measuring ohms with probes from an ohm meter right on the screws. I thought the RBA would be and end all but it won't be for my wife who has the airflow hole on her eGrip cinched down to a minimal level. For her I'll keep buying the regular heads.

Merry Christmas everybody!!

Only site that I know of that carries them is VapeNW. Adapter costs about $4.5 and shipping is a flat rate of $6.

Are you referring to the cotton in the RBA base?
If so, have you already used the 2 additional ones that came packaged with it?

yeah i did, it was a simple fix, i just used less cotton and now it vapes great! for those having issue with your RBA not firing, try using less cotton as it fixed my problem! i really love this thing now!

coming from a evod2 + c-twist. this is a huge step up!

also, as far as trying to turn it off, i just have to press the fire button slower and it's all good!

Hmmmm... think I'll dig out my leather, and just make a harness for mine then. Want a way to put this on a lanyard during riding season. Will post pics of whatever I work up

I was thinking of some way to loosen 2 top screws and bolt on a piece that you could put a lanyard through.

Stupid quick question...I just got an egrip for Christmas. Is there an easy way to wash/rinse it out before I fill it? There is a machine oil smell that I am hesitant to vape.

Thanks in advance.

Remove the small torx screws from the top panel and the entire tank section can easily be pulled out. I did this a couple hours ago to change flavors from a menthol to a non menthol. While I was at it, I rebuilt the coil. 28awg 13 wrap 1/16th micro. After installing, I screwed the rba base back in. With the tank section removed I was able to reach through the device and test fire and squeeze the coil together. Wicked it up and vaping up a storm!

Well, basic construction of the eGripkini is done. Going to sew a tab opposite the fire button, for attaching a lanyard. This is strictly for riding season: if I'm taking a hit at a stoplight and the light turns green, I can just let go...

Perfect. Thank you. So here's my plan to adjust airflow: Drill different-sized holes into these magnets

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EWGPJT0...UTF8&colid=F33IS5NXVYEE&coliid=I219DO9FCXG7P7

and pop them into the well.

Neodymium magnets

Drilling (or sawing) of neodymium magnets is absolutely not recommended. First of all, the material is brittle and fragile. Secondly, drilling causes combustible dust and, thirdly, the heat caused by the drill can possibly demagnetise the material.

Yeah, upon further reading, that seems to be a difficult proposition. It looked like a good idea, but unfortunately not feasible.
