I had the same issue today.
Woke up vaped for a bit, put it to the side. Was no leaking at that point etc.
Came back to it a few hours later and found it leaked the whole tank out.

No idea why either.

Edit- it stayed in the room the whole time. No temp change that i could tell from before and after in the room.

Was it laying horizontal or standing upright when it dumped the tank?

the grip tank had a copious leak through the bottom of the RBA This after 10 hours of use at work with no problem. The only thing i can figure is that going from the cold outdoors to my apartment somehow caused this.

Has this happened to anyone else?
I've had an egrip since last October and run both the RBA and replacable coils. I've had occaisional instnces where liquid escaped from the bottom but it is a fraction of a drop. I agree that it's probably tempereature or pressure related. The problem is addressed by putting a paper napkin in the pocket where I'm carrying it.

I'm willing to bet one of the juice inlet holes is exposed and doesn't have enough wicking material covering it.

Mine leaked when I first got it. Finally pulled out the rba and looked at everything under a good light. I found some leftover contamination from manufacturing on the surface where the rba mates and seals with the tank. Scraped that off with a toothpick and it hasn't leaked since other than some occasional minor seepage around the air adjust screw.

Standing upright. So i cleaned it up vaped for bit it was fine. Had to go out so put it in jacket and went. When i finally stopped it had leaked again.
All holes etc are covered. So don't know what the issue is here.

My replacement eGrip has stopped charging. Only had it for 3 days. Contacted VapeNW. Now we shall really see just how good their customer service is.

Stopped charging as in the charge light went out while plugged in ? or the charge light isn't lit when plugged in ?

Here's a fresh 1.4ohm build I just put on the mighty mite, 2.5mm-28ga-8 wrap with rayon…pretty easy build despite the tiny deck…a cloud chaser using low mg nic juice taking lung hits would blow through 3.5ml pretty quickly I would imagine, the vapor this thing produces is pretty amazing. The dime is probably 20% bigger in diameter than the build deck just to give you a little perspective.

No lights when plugged in. Has been charging for around an hour and still won't turn on. Went through a tank earlier today at 15.5 watts without problem. Charge battery lights flashed. And now nothing.

Ian at VapeNW said that if the unit is dead, that will happen. Allow it to sit on the charger for 2 hours. if it is still dead then we may have a defective unit.

Copy that, sorry to hear…I'm sure they'll take care of you.

Looking good there!
I've noticed it is a juice hogger as was vaping 100% VG at 13watts and drains the juice quick! A lot like my kayfun 4!
Blows clouds though i have to say. Very very impressed!
Just don't know what's up with the leaking!
It was on its side laying down all night last night with out a single drop! But today just been leaking constant.

Yes, use the non Nautilus BVC heads. You won't have to shorten the center pin, I found a work around. If you still have your eGrip heads lying around, pull out the metal center pin from those and replace the metal pin in the BVC coils with them. The pin will be kind of loose inside the BVC head so make sure it doesn't fall out when you turn it over. If you want to go a tiny step further and make sure that doesn't happen, you can pull out the white rubber gasket thingy inside the eGrip head and replace the BVC one with that, just make sure the coil doesn't get pulled out and that you insert the gasket correctly (with one wire inside the gasket and one on the outside touching the metal part). You will be able to fit the BVC head onto the eGrip base now, only thing is that the coil base will not screw into the mod completely. It will screw in like 90% of the way and protrude a tiny bit but it will still work.

I just popped in a new BVC head myself, it's vaping great for me this way. I tried to modify the eGrip head the other day and pull out one of the layers of the wick but I still think the BVC heads perform better.

Here's a pic of how far it sticks out. It will still sit upright but wobble a little. You can use one of those charge port covers and it will balance out the other side and not wobble.

A heads up for those of you dealing with the atomizer plug sticking out when running Aspire BVCs...

The eGrip skin will stabilize the base of the eGrip. It's just thick enough to negate the atomizer plug sticking out. It'll protect the finish as well.

I don't seem to have any leaking issues. My wicking looks very similar to the images posted above. My magnet solution does not cause leaks either, although I have run into a slight nuisance. My work desk is metallic, so I can't put my eGrip with the magnet on that particular desk as it will suck the magnet out. But few people will experience this.

The only time mine seems to leak is when I try to restrict the airflow. Like it draws the liquid out.
Maybe Armadillo will chime in on whether his magnet is causing that issue too....

If the airflow is restricted and you take a draw you're creating additional vacuum that'll pull juice into the atomizer causing gurgling and flooding, exactly like a Kayfun or any other atties that use this type of system to get juice to the wick...it'll leak this excess juice out the air inlet hole.

Just sucks because I like a tighter draw....
