four2109, I'm running a wedged toothpick in the rba hole to tighten up the draw and no leaks. I'm scratching my head over these leak reports. The only thing I can think of is inspecting the three seals on the rba base with a magnifying glass (top of chimney, around the middle and another at the bottom). Make sure they are complete, no twists, no cuts, no damage or tears. Also inspect the areas in the mod where the seals mate up against.

One other thing, I found my chimney section was loose when I rewicked recently, it seems the cotton tails can stop it threading in properly. Maybe that is why joyetech show the rabbit ears method of fitting the chimney in the factory video.

I don't think that is necessarily the case. I have successfully reduced the airflow using a magnet with a smaller hole (1 mm) and am using a tighter drip tip to further tighten the draw. I have zero gurgling and zero leak.

Yeah, my plug works, I just get some leaking. It seems like it sucks the liquid out.

I agree with you somewhat, this seems like a device that could leak for any number of reasons and from a number of areas...and tracking these leaks might be tricky to pinpoint.

If you wouldn't mind posting details on your magnet draw reduction technique and a picture if possible I'd appreciate it, I'd like to tighten it up just a bit. Thanks in advance.

Have had mine now for about a week, and I've gotta say, it's the best rbta atty/device I've ever used. The flavour profile is similar to what I get from my drippers. It really is that good....and that's using a stock coil (rewicked). Still waiting on my 510 adaptor so I can put in my own coils.

The only time I have had a slight leak is when I've overfilled using the bottom and side port in rba mode.

Will definitely be buying more of these. It's a bit cliché, but I think I really have found my perfect device. Stealthy, well built, looks great (pictures don't do it justice) and price wise it's spot on. I'm very, very impressed.

If you are into dripping the Reo Grand or Reo Mini 2.1 is worth a look if you haven't already. Its the same as dripping but with a squeeze bottle on board so you can drip and drive one-handed, or vape anywhere one-handed for that matter. Not quite the same price point but will last virtually forever. I agree with you about the egrip delivering flavor similar to a dripper. There's more than a few Reo owners on this thread, they are crazy about backup, whether it be another Reo or something else, I'm one of them...

To be honest, for the first time in 18 months I'm finally content with my setup. I'll be buying a few more of these, and that will be it. Vape and build quality is excellent, unbelievably easy to wick and coil and great flavour and vapor production. I don't need anything more!

I also found that that chimney could loosen when pretucking the wick before installing the chimney. And sometimes the wick gets caught in the threading which can move the wicking out of position.

So instead I use the rabbit ear technique but split the wick ends in half after screwing in the chinmey (double bunny ears), then gently tuck all four wick ends down, then pull 1/2 of the split end over to one juice hole and the other 1/2 to the other juice hole with a needle. Works every time. No gurgle, no dry hits chain vaping at 14w with 60vg/40pg.

Would like to say again....keep it fluffy. Jamming the wicking down into the juice well as shown on most of the vids is going to compact the cotton and ruin it's ability to transport juice to the coil speedily. Keep it fluffy....

All the way to the bottom. Thats where the reserve juice for extended vaping sessions is hiding. A gold mine of vaping pleasure!

Next time I rewick I'll take pics. Might be a day or two as I'm running ultra clean juice.....10% Fogboss "Bobby two Fingers" with 90% unflavored base. 15ml on this wick, and so far and not a hint of slowing down on flavor or vapor production.

I use a needle. Anything larger just seems to smash the cotton. Using the needle I start the ends of the double rabbit ears down the chimney first then gently tap on the top of the humpted up wick to make it slide down to the bottom of the well. Pics will help I'm sure.

Forgot to mention I bought some of these magnets and they work well. The box they came in was huge in comparison lol

The Egrip has become my favorite vaping device. How do I know?......my other gear just sits there on my vape table longingly staring at me. This was not my intent. I bought the egrip to meet my portability needs, not to replace everything else I own, but there they are, staring again.

Flavor is off the chain at 14watts. Better than my Billow, Lemo and Megatank....almost as good as my Tobh RDA. Incredible.

Vapor production is a thick dense cool output. Very predictable coil temp control with varying draw effort.

Never leaks a drop and gurgling only occurs at near empty tank level, something not uncommon with tank systems.

Very pleased........think I'll order another one. Ah oh...the stares became glares!

I use those little round, colored yard sale stickers to label e-liquid bottles. I just slapped one on the bottom of my egrip and poked a small hole in it. It works.

i cut my wick so it doesn't reach the bottom of the well. In fact it's really short. I rest my scissors on the base and cut up. and it doesn't go all around the base. Just wick and cut as normal. Flavour has improved ten fold, and zero leaking. Not a drop. It should but it doesn't.

Thanks, did you come across any with a smaller ID on your search as 1/16 is 1.5mm which is still a bit big for me.

My RBA is leaking out the air hole on the base. I think a few others have experience this as well? I am wondering if I have too much wick? Any input would be great. Thanks!
