Well now I've noticed i only get leaks when refilling as it's adjusting to the pressure in the tank. Hence some small drops from rba base and filling latch.
Other than that it seems leak free. Still testing though lol
I used rayon in mine it's fantastic. Going to replace the coil with my own though soon as I'm getting a funny taste in the background. As it it's not clean. Will keep you guys posted! :)

Is the ceramic wick unsafe to vape or something? That would be a shame as I really love the bvc coils. Not sure if I want to give them up even if they are bad.

Much ado about nothing imo. But no doubt the hand wringers will disagree. Hopefully they're wearing their hardhats. Never can tell when the sky is gonna fall.

I agree Irwink.....I smoked cigarettes with asbestos/fiberglass filters( Kents in the 1960's), cigars and pipes all loaded with tar and tons of cancerous chemicals and carbon monoxide for 47 years. To me, vaping is harmless, I mix my own ejuice...diacetle etc..free. Don't worry, be happy!

I'd wish the fire button was on the drip tip / tank side of the device.
Stealth vaping I usually have the palm surrounding the eGrip and use the index finger to fire. That way however I find my nose touching the index finger when drawing. Twisting the hand slightly resolves the issue but it doesn't come naturally. Am I the only one having that issue?

Having the fire button on the opposite side would also allow for smaller drip tips imho.
Issue? That's not an issue but personal preference.

I just recieved my 3 rd replacement from joyetech. 1st was doa, 2nd had the charging port problem, now the new one fires and then doesn't fire. Shows its shorted some times on the rda, but fires the reg coil sometimes. I am ready to call it quits, i have all kinds of mods and rdas never have any problems. Will take apart and clean, and see what happens, if it does not start working i will ask joytech for refund. Aggghhh.

I'm currently on my 2nd. I started off really liking the eGrip but tired of the problems I'm having.

First was USB port stopped working then fell out. 2nd juices leak up thru the chimney; each vape I may as well be drinking my juice. Ohhhh & don't get my started on the leaky rba!!!! :( I'm not talking about a little leak either. Set the thing down & a tank full of juice will run completely out of the rda.

So far the eGrip has been too much work!

I had one that just did that today right after I filled it. For some reason the little cap on the RBA had come off!

Just received mine in the mail today and it keeps flooding. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Been dripping for a while now and can't recall how to stop flooding atomizers.

Make sure the base is screwed all the way in. Mine had a "firm" spot, but didn't sit level. There was at least a half turn left before it seated. That solved the spitting. You will feel the dead spot when it is screwed in all the way.

"Note: I have forgot to quote, this reply was for Cigatron's question about rewicking cs heads :)"

You can find detailed info about disassembling cs head on my cs atomizer mod thread, i have replaced the original coils with vertical coil from a bvc atomiser and working better so far. Rewicking is easy too as you can see there, but need to fix the thickness according to your juice so you dont get gurgles etc.

My egrip rba works flawless. I always make sure to place wicking in front all four juice holes and vape it until I see bubbles rising in the tank immediately after filling. Never leaks a drop.

I don't know how you get wick behind all 4 holes. 2 of mine are behind the posts. I can usually get 3, but not that 4th one.

Mine works well also.. Hell, it's been weeks, and I still have the factory RBA coil in it. ;) I've just been replacing the cotton when needed. It must be dumb luck that there's no leaking.. I just snip the cotton to fit, and shove it down without paying much attention to the hole alignment. Come to think of it, it must be luck.. My eGrip is one of the 1st batch, and hasn't given me a bit of trouble for the months I've been using it. :vapor:

Yeah, seems I'm one of the fortunate where all four holes are accessible. Machining variations in the threading is no doubt responsible for the location of the holes once the chimney is screwed on; worst case two located behind the screw posts.

Joyetech could fix the variance by screwing the chimney on before drilling the holes but it probably wouldn't be cost effective for them or us to keep track of matched sets of rbas and chimneys. That said, when they are correctly orientated the juice flow charactoristics are excellent.

Me too. Everything about it with the RBA works great. That said, I'm still not thrilled with the form factor. It is pocket friendly. It's just not grip friendly for me, Dammit! Otherwise, it's perfect!
I wonder what they could do with a side by side design. I'll wait. It will happen.

My air holes are not together either. One on each side and the other two behind the posts.

Can i just clarify which air holes are you referring too? On the base when you take the caps off i have no holes. They are on the sleeve. Are these the ones to which you referring?
