Ive smoked RY4 from smokeless image for almost 5 years. Never went to anything else.. It worked and I didnt think anything else about it up until about 3 weeks ago. Ive always been a mouth to lung smoker with the vape pen from smokeless image. Now 3 weeks ago I changed to a vaporesso target pro. The flavors tasted great and I was getting huge clouds (something I never really desired for in the past) So I landed on Liquid States Cali Colada. A juice that is 80% VG. I fill my tank up probably 3 times a day now. The last few days Ive had the "heavy lung" thing going on I guess. Do you guys think the juice is the cause? I will say since I changed to the new vape. I rarely do a mouth to lung hit, they are pretty much straight lung hits now...

Oh my, I'm sorry to hear this. Mostly cuz I'm in the same situation. No pain but my lungs do load up and start chucking phlegm whenever I overdo the VG and straight lung hitting. Of course I blame my 45 years of smoking for the problem not vaping. I was hoping that with time my lungs might heal enuf to deal with it, but if you've been vaping 5 years and still have issues I suppose I might as well give up the wishful thinking. Siiigghh.

But on the bright side I'll always have use for all the low power gear I've invested in. ;)

Foggy, Dont misunderstand me.. I smoked for 15 years or so. as soon as I went to the Ecig, much was improved.. No issues what so ever... But when I just recently switched to this new juice I started having issues it seems.. Im going to stop lung hitting it and start searching for a flavor I like thats less vg to see if that makes a difference.

Yeah same here. I think I unnerschtan. I felt and do feel much MUCH better vaping. But when I get adventurous and start lowering ohms (1.2:rolleyes:)and raising VG (80-90%) and lung hitting the old air bags will start to rebel after a week to 10 days of (Tootle) clouds bro. I hadn't noticed any relationship to a particular flavor just overdoing the amount of vapor, in my case.

SI's RY4 is the bombdiggity!! But they are (I believe) 70vg /30pg. So you may have too high of VG for direct lung hits with your new juice. I know depending on the weather (humidity) I have trouble breathing if I do a DL hit.

Hope this helps a little :)

Each of the changes you've made likely contribute to your increased discomfort as well as the hotter weather we've been experiencing lately.

I've found numerous combinations of factors over the years give me less than satisfactory effects.

Very early on I found VG to be a bother to me. So switched to DIY and keep VG to 20% or less.

Also flavourings like cinnamon or licorice give me ill effects. So I simply avoid those.

Even without vaping the hot humid weather causes me more trouble breathing as I age. It is just a fact of life.

Simply put, if you notice discomfort with something, stop or eliminate it's use. I've found that diluting a problem liquid 100% with plain PG minimizes any previous issue I had with the liquid.

Bottom line is find what works best for you. It is worth the effort.
It may turn out that some flavourings just do not agree with you and while you can eat all you like you just simply cannot vape them.

For me I'll have my vanilla vape while eating a cinnamon roll.
Or have a cola vape while I eat licorice. It's all good. Cheers.
