New Kamry K200+ owner and def Novice. Looking for advice

Hello to any who might respond to my query.
I am new to vaping as I was horrendous smoker for 26 years and was tiring of both the expense and the smell.

My questions are thus.
Since my purchase of the K200+ starter kit I have run into some issues.

Firstly while trying to locate online vendors for replacement parts due to my geographic location limiting my options for getting in the door of retailers to get parts and questions answered.
This being due to my kit coming with what i'm to understand is a X8 atomizer that has the 510 thread standard.
Well I had the 2 cartridge like atomizers working fine for a time.
To be specific first X8 began to fail due to my inexperience. Causing e-juice to bubble into stem and into my mouth.
The 2nd performed more admirably since I was learning on the fly how to extend it's life cycle until after 5 weeks of use.
My device is showing that the 2nd cartridge indicates the heat coil no longer works.
The first being in a more beaten up condition I have already followed through with some advice from some terrible forums on how to properly clean these cartridges more or less to remove e-juice deposits.

Now again since I suffer from Noviceness, lol. I have contacted only a few online vendors whose e-juice flavors I enjoy only to find they don't sell or even recognize which part I'm in need of replacing.

So can anyone help me figure out where, how and if quality is a big matter in the replacing of these X8 atomizers?
If it helps the resistance my device typically displays when atomizer and tank is attached runs anywhere between 2.1 to 2.8 ohm.

My device is a variable voltage only and not variable wattage. that can be adjusted between 3.0 and 5.0.
Just trying to find info on a reliable online vendor with whom i can purchase replacement atomizers aswell as receiving any help from forum members on proper up keep and maintenance with this device and any i further may purchase.

Name is John and would appreciate any assistance!

I'm not familiar with that model or parts but I did find a few threads that may point you in the right direction. Also, after reading a little about this model I did see that the X8 is a tank that takes standard Boge cartomizers. You should be able to find them at any online shop. Good luck!

Since it is a cartomizer tank...perhaps a solution might be as simple as blowing through the cartomizer to remove excess liquid

Unscrew the tank from your K200, wrap a tissue around the bottom and gently blow through it, blowing excess liquid into the tissue.
Wipe out both connecting pieces and screw back together...see if that helps.

The X8 is a carto-tank. You can replace the entire X8 or just the carto. Whatever you get needs a 510 connection or an adapter.

If you want to continue with the X8 -

Cartomizers will wear out and need replaced. Most of my cartos last about 30 - 50 ml but your mileage may vary.

I'm not sure of the length cartomizer used in that. Measure the carto (just the replaceable tube that goes inside the tank. if it is about 1.5 inches or around 40mm it is the short type. If it is around 2 inches or 50 mm it is the long type. If it is the short type the long ones will work but the carto will stick up higher over the tank when inserted.

You want prepunched hole(s) or you will need to by a hole puncher.

X8 is flanged which means it has the wide part that keeps you from pushing the carto in too far into the tank is present. You can get one without the flange if that is all you can find.

Other options if you want to try something besides the X8-

Anything can work.

The only Kamry models I looked at had ego connection but it is recessed. If that is the case narrow devices like the EVOD will fit. If you get a wider device (as in as wide as the X8 tank or wider) either get 510 connection or an 510 to ego adapter. If you want to go that route just look for more info on the delivery device (some call them toppers) you are interested in.

A good choice for the Kamry, according to Kamry users I talked to, is a Protank or Aerotank. Regardless, I recommend replacing the X8, even if you just go with a different carto-tank. Everyone I've talked to that used the X8 didn't like it.

I have a kamry k200+ myself, and i can honestly say that the cartomizers they send with the atomizer are rubbish, my first one flooded after around 2 days of using it, and the second (replacement) on that they send with it flooded after around 2 weeks, i cleaned both of them out, and within an hour of using them, they flooded again.

I would recommend buying some new X8 cartridges, i couldn't recommed where from as i didn't bother getting new cartomizers when mine started playing up, i just bought a new atomizer all together. I'm currently using my kamry k200+ battery with an iClear 30B atomizer and it works brilliantly
