I just got an Aerotank yesterday. I filled it about 1/2 way with some new juice and it's great on my Mini ZMax. Tried the Aero on my
510/eGo batteries and it doesn't work. My other toppers work on all of them but the Aero only works on the Zmax. I emptied, rinsed & dry-burned it, and still only works on the Mini Zmax. I did recharge the 510/eGo batteries to make sure low charge wasn't the problem.
Then it started gurgling & I'd get juice in my mouth. Trying to blow the juice out the bottom, just blows the juice out the airholes. I emptied, re-rinsed and blew it out after adding liquid to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well, there are a few things here that I'm going to mention. Hopefully they'll help you out.

I've owned the AeroTank for about 3-4 weeks now, and it has been working flawlessly - no gurgling, flooding, etc. This is because of how the "air flow chamber" is designed. First and foremost, you should make sure to unscrew your coil head from the base and be sure to blow all excess liquid out of the coil head. Also make sure that the chamber in the base is clear of all liquid. Yes, blowing it out will make the liquid come out of the air holes - that's the only place for it to go. Just wipe off the air adjustment ring on the outside when you're done. Now go ahead and put the coil head back on, and be sure to screw it on just a little tight. There's a rubber gasket on the base that needs to get compressed down by the coil head to make sure there is no leaking into the air chamber. Liquid in the air chamber can cause gurgling or (if there's enough) cut off the supply of electricity to the coils.

Another thing to note about this particular tank is that it uses dual-coils. This causes (correct me if I'm wrong) double the amount of pull on your battery - as it has 2 coils to heat up instead of 1. There are a lot of smaller batteries that simply cannot handle this pull. For example, I had an eGo-V battery that would work with this tank until about half battery life. At that point, the LCD screen would light dimmer than usual (with no numbers able to be displayed) and the coils in the tank would not fire. I then tried my upgraded eGo-V V2 Mega battery, and this tank had no problems - though yes, my battery life was cut in half because of the dual coils.

I'm not sure which eGo style battery you are using, but it seems to me like it might not be able to handle a dual-coil tank. So I'm guessing it's a smaller battery. Just looking at the Mini ZMax, it uses a 18350 battery which is easily able to handle the draw from this tank. So yeah, I would just say that in my opinion - I don't think the AeroTank will work with your eGo battery, but you'll be glad it does with your Mini ZMax :)

Check the coil head to make sure it's threaded all the way into the base. If that doesn't work make sure the two parts of the tank that screw together with the glass in the middle and threaded nicely and not leaving any air to pass through. I would get gurgles on my Aero whenever the seal wasn't tight or the coil wasn't threaded in nicely. If all fails, you might just have a bad coil.

great post as i am considering upgrading to a kanger aero tank or the protank 2 not sure which one i want yet. hell i might just buy them all and try em aerotank, protank 1,2,and 3 lol
Get the aerotank. I have all three and I just ordered aerotank bases to replace the bases on my Protank and protank IIs. The airflow adjustment makes the differance. It also stops the squishing problem of the rubber isolator on the new replacement coils.

I agree!! Those Aerotank bases make the PT and PT II's work great!!

If it is not firing and your Battery is not Flashing - You likely have a center pin contact problem. This is very common on ALL Kanger tanks.
Also Most stick Batteries center pins can become compressed - Need to be pulled back up.

Dual coil should not Matter - Kanger builds to suit their own Stick Batteries.(EGO style)

1.8 ohm Dual coil is actually 2 x 3.6ohm coils - Not going to overload anything and each coil only sees 1/2 the produced power.
