New Kanger Coil heads don't work.

Kanger changed the design of their coil heads for Protank, EVOD, and Unitank. They flat out do not work at all on my Protank II. When I put them in the tank I can't draw any air through them at all.

What were they thinking?

Are there any companies making this stuff that aren't based in China? Everything that comes out of that country is junk.

Have you mashed the center post to far in the coil base causing the grommet to bulge and block the air flow? Try backing that center pin out just a tad.

There's only two air paths in a Kanger head/tank - through the center of the head, and through a hole in the side of the base, above the threads. Like Mrs. C recommended, check the grommet, and check that the small air hole on the side of the base above the threads isn't gunked up. You can also check for airflow on the head simply by blowing into it, same for the base.

maybe you got a Dualcoil ones ? sorry I haven't saw them before so can't tell .. just know they wont work on PT2 .. only on PT3 and Aerotank (and others BDC attys)

I've noticed a significant drop in the quality of Kanger heads as of late. I'm talking big time. I've seen some shipped without flavor wicks, some even without coils! I always pop the post off my heads to inspect them before using them, and the quality control at Kanger has taken a serious nose-dive.
