I just got a new Kanger Unitank. I'm using a 2.2 resistance coil and a smoktec variable voltage battery. I pre primed my coil and flipped rubber cap up. The voltage I'm using is 3.6. I can only get dry hits it seems. I don't really know what to do. I'm pretty sure I didn't burn the new wick because I've had the voltage down so low. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Don't own one and have actually never even seen one in person, but which rubber cap did you flip and why? I do believe the cap on the outer stem that covers the spring may stop the juice flow if flipped. It is designed to prevent leaking when filling, if you flipped it it's possible that it is preventing juice flow after assembly too..

I also had trouble with harsh, dry hits from a Unitank. There are a number of reports that out there that removing one of the "flavor wicks" from the head fixes this. I did that when I washed it out recently, but I haven't refilled it yet. I bought a Protank-II instead, which I simply like better.

I recently got one of these also and I have had nothing but problems with it. Started out great but about an hour or so it started to flood really bad. I took it all apart checked anything out put it back together and still having the same problem getting a little frustrated with it now. Wish I could figure it out cuz it worked great for a few hours....

I am having the same issue. I replaced the atomizer head and it fixed it for a few hours but now it is still flooding. I have the SMOK Magneto and when I screw the tank on, I get very little airflow. There has to be a gap between the tank and cap on my mod to get any airflow at all. I'm hoping I can figure this out because I want this unit to work. Any help is appreciated.

Okay, an update to my post. I have since used the Unitank on my Vision Spinner. Using the "beauty" ring that came with the Unitank, i now have airflow and zero gurgling/flooding. I am thinking the air channels on the Magneto don't like the "center post draw" devices that screw directly into the 510 connection. I have a moderately tight draw on my iClear 16's so an airflow controller should do the trick. We shall see once my vape mail comes.
