Has the original 25mm Subtanks been recalled? I was browsing on Kangers website and noticed its no longer offered for sale, just the Subtank Mini and Nano?

I purchased the 25mm Subtank but haven't opened mine yet as I have no box, but if theres a recall or such, I'll leave it un-opened and return to my local store. Anyone know?

I see nothing about a recall here Kangertech SUBTANK

This is also a great vid on how to rewick the Stock coils without rebuilding. Little trick to getting the amount of cotton just right but hell it works like a dream!

I tried it this morning and it worked flawlessly. Just have to be patient when twisting the cotton out but it works great and I save myself definitely one coil maybe two or three. Great tip and so much easier than taking the whole coil apart. [emoji106]

When you guys pull out the old burnt cotton did you let it dry first. Late last night I was getting burnt hits so I was going to pull the cotton out but being messy with my ejuice it was giving me issues. I gave it a hot rinse and went to bed. Going to give it a go when I get off work.

I used the .5 occ coil that came with my subtank for over a week, daily. Fairly light juice in it, not dark.

This is the coil. I wanted to see what was in it so I gave it a quick rinse and took it apart. Lots of how-to's out there to rewick them but that isn't needed on this one. Oddly enough the cotton is still nice. Some crud build up on the coil but that's it. Probably could soak it in everclear and get most of that off.

These coils last a long time.

Nope I pulled it and twisted it out still wet very gently.

Wow, that's a LOT more wick than what any of my 0.5 OCC heads came with. Unless you fluffed the heck out of it.

All my wicks (and the 1.2) stayed even and inline with the coil itself, just a wee bit wider than the coil diameter on the outside where it rested against the juice inlets, and fairly dense.

Interesting. I've got 2 tanks and 4 heads. I took all the heads apart so I could put my own build in them and they all look just like the picture.

The rinsing did that probably because I didn't mess with it. I was just surprised it came clean that easy because the cotton was black and nasty.
