Wow what a great site. It's good they have the replacement glass for the Kangertech Subtank. And you can get the OCC heads by the piece. Now I hope they get the red O-rings for the base.

They are a great company they have always taken care of me and their house juices are fantastic, taste just as their name says like code red mtn dew tastes just like drinking one. If you post a question under the replacement glass about o ring they might be able to get them for you or know where to get.

Ok, I have had mine for several days now. The .5 ohm coil popped to much and I wasn't impressed. Tried the 1.2 ohm coil, I like it. Even on a mech, it tastes great and has enough vapor for my likes.

Have not tried the rba section yet, but when I do I am thinking a 1 ohm single coil will be what I go with....

I'm currently using the RBA deck with "half" the dual coil setup that came with the Subtank. I extracted one of the coils, and the one remaining has a resistance of 0.9-1.0 Ohm.

Try attaching it with and without the beauty ring. It sounds liek there may be an issue with the way the SubTanl's 510 interacts with contacts in the Evic.

Yes, I tried that... That always fixed the aero tank atomizer issues but no go this time. Once the Evic makes up its mind there is nothing you can do. Vaping on my MVP works great though. I actually think the airflow with just one hole is too much for me so I have it at 3/4 of a hole. Maybe I'm just so used to the Kayfun draw.

It is really easy to build if you have done Kayfuns. One thing I noticed is that you have to make sure you use enough cotton... Snug but not too snug. My favorite build is single coil at 1.6 ohms

Thats what i needed to know. I assumed the RBA dual coil build was .5ohm and a single coil would be roughly 1ohm.

Im terrible at wrapping coils but im gunna try some more after the Kuro tools come back in stock. (poor eyesight) I found these as another option to wrapping my own.

Did the exact same thing. Have not used it yet but I may try today after I empty the tank. Is the flavor any different?

I found it a little bit more subdued than with a new 1.2 Ohm OCC head. but I'm not sure that was because of my scarce experience wicking coils.

Drainage is pretty good, with no dry hits, nor floods.

I'm using a P3, @12-15W

I did the same thing as well! When I tried to fire the dual coil that came in it, it was reading 0.4 but the ipv mini still fired it. Vapor was way to hot for me so took one of the coils out. The single is reading at 0.7 and tastes great / great vapor at 21 watts. Only had to change cotton once and on my 6th full tank.

I just received my Hanna Modz DNA 50 Clone from Fasttech today. I tried the subtank again, this time on the DNA 50 clone. It is a lot better than it was when I tried the Sub Tank on the Aspire CF SUB ohm battery. With the DNA50 clone, I can decrease the wattage so it does not burn my lips like the CD Sub Ohm Battery did.
I have tried both, the 5 ohm and the 1.2 ohm coils. Getting plenty of clouds from both, but still disappointed with the lack of taste. I will admit, my taste buds are pretty bad. Maybe it is me, or maybe it is the juice I'm using. I do not have (or even know what it is) dripper juice. I just used a mixture of 8mg cherry and 0mg spearmint.
Any ideas?

I am super impressed with this thing! I was out and about and stopped at on of the B&M stores that know me pretty well. Told the owner I was skeptical and he cut a deal and sold me the subtank for $50! so far only using the OEM head that came in it but I have to say im super impressed with the flavor and vapor production on this bad boy!

I am using Custards Last Stand at 6mg at 28 watts. Dialed down to single airhole for flavor purposes. Excited to do the RBA section but right now I'm just enjoying the Vape quality.
The only downside I have found is that on the tightest air setting it has a slight whistle to it. Can be an annoyance but nothing more. Will update when I've spent more time with it.

I think the subtank is possessed. First the Evic started giving atomizer short messages. Now I tried it on the Magneto mech mod and it works just fine but then I put it back on my MVP 2 and now that won't work.. gives the A000 message (with or without the beauty ring) so I put it on my other backup, the Itaste VV and there it reads as 1.6ohms (which it should read as) and fires just fine. I guess it will eventually corrupt all my devices, one by one.

I did try another tank on the MVP2 and that also works great, so it must be the subtank.

What on earth could cause this?
