I sure was hoping the new meds would do the trick for you, Megan. *big hugs*

Especially with the weight roller coaster... Abi puts on 1 pound and she thinks she needs to fast lol

I am better controlling mine with exercise. It stays off longer that way, in my opinion.

Sorry for the rant last night...coming off the Gaba is really a mess. I took it not knowing it's considered a narcotic...ah well, shows me for not doing my research!

Megan,

No, it is not a narcotic. I was wrong about it being a controlled substance. From what I looked up, it is classified as a V in controlled substances. I'm sorry I scared you. When I was nursing a major university hospital (top 10 in the nation) it was a controlled substance in the pyxis. I'm wondering why that is, now?

Thanks,

Thanks Dani, when I went to look up the withdrawal symptoms all the places I saw said "Nerotin; Gabapentin: Narcotic" No worries, I'm coming off it. Just wish I could sleep more than a few hours a night. Sucks to be so tired I'm falling over but cannot sleep (Story of my life...I've never been able to sleep...)

I'll just say this. I had exteme Sciatica. Extreme. I was going to the Chiro 2+ times a week and eating Aleve like candy. I was basically immobile the pain was so severe.
Started some alternative meds in January of this year and have had no pain since. No pain. None. Zero. Flexibility is back, the feeling in my foot and leg is back. It's some amazing stuff.
They have the plant that is ... free. It's called the Hippie's Disappointment.:lol:
