I can't control how others may interpret a title. How is it misleading? The law does ban e-cigarettes.

It is misleading because you didn't qualify that it is only for minors, sounds like it is banning it for everyone.

Correct you can't control interpretation, that is why you should be more specific.

I think its a decent law which in my opinion is a no brainer! I think we can all agree that if we all had the chance to be nicotine and habbit free then we would so why would we sell such drugs to minors? I started smoking fags when i was 15, i didnt smoke alot, i spent my lunch money and smoked about 3 a day but it soon became a 10 pack by the time i was 16.

If laws were more strict back in the day then maybe i wouldnt have started smoking. When i was at school the legal age to buy fags was 16 and my mate used to go the paper shop and buy them for me because he did a paper round, knew the manager of the store and looked about 18. Maybe if the law was 18 back then like it was now i wouldnt have started.

The law does not ban e-cigs, it prohibits selling them to minors. This threads title is misleading.

You can have as many laws as you like protecting minors. If it isn't enforced what good do they do. There was no shortage of retailers willing to sell me cigarettes at the age of 11. I wish I had known better. Adults should have known better. So much for the law

What's up with today's narrow, binary approach toward everything? Why does virtually everyone have to believe that something is either 100% OK or else it needs to become a law enforcement issue and banned?

Don't want to get roasted here, but it seems like restricting underage sale is a good thing for our interests.

This way, the wingnut antis lose their "those bad guys are killing our babies" ammo they love to use anytime someone has a hobby other than scrapbooking.

Just my 2 cents, and I'm certainly not one to embrace over regulation, but it seems right here.

I think it's a good law. Minors shouldn't be encouraged to smoke tobacco nor any other nicotine product. I also think that these types of laws are as far as the laws regarding e-cigarettes should go.

I'm in Singapore at the moment and they're banned completely here. 5,000 fine if you're caught too. Can you believe it?

I'm sure I will be flamed and bashed to oblivion and back for this comment, but here goes...

Personally, I think ecigs should be allowed to minors, with low mg of nic... Reason being is if a minor wants nic bad enough, they WILL find a way to get it... So why ban a safer alternative? I remember when I started smoking when I was 12... Although not addicted until I was like 16, at which point I found many ways to acquire cigarettes... There are a LOT of people who would be more than happy to by smokes for a minor for a small fee, mainly the drunks and bums... Anyways, my point is... They are going to get it one way or another, why not allow them to get low mg stuff?
