new light smoker, need advice.

Hi, i just got my 901 and want to try it out but have a question right now.
im not a heavy smoker, so im wondering how do i store my cart when im not vaping. i only smoke on the weekends and i doubt that i will vape the whole cartridge?

also, what replacement parts can i use for my 901, is it only parts from 901 or can i used parts from other devices like a 510 or a cigar??? idk if its a stupid question but im new so theres my excuse

You can get adapters for almost anything. Cartos thread on a 901 but I don't know about the draw, my 905 uses 901 attys and cartridge and I put cartos on it but needed adapter for air to draw through. Welcome to ECF and the only stupid question is the one thats not ask. Good luck.

I think that's why your question is so hard to answer, so many of us here wish to all thats good and mighty that we were able to only smoke on the weekends. If that had been the case with me, I probably would have given it up years and years ago: or, maybe I would have been fine with that. The e-cig is really designed for people who've smoked for many many years and never been able to quit. So, honestly, I don't know what the recommended use is if you only use it once or twice a week. sorry

If you're such a light smoker, then I would suggest that you try out some 0mg (no nicotine) juice. In other words, "get out while you still have a chance." Hard core nicotine addiction sucks in so many ways...please don't let that monkey climb onto your back.

That being said... I wouldn't worry about mixing and matching components from different PV's. Just stick with the 901 parts and accessories. It's a popular model, so everything should be decently priced and readily available.

You can buy battery adapters that work on 901 to 510 and back again - I got one to use a 901 atty on a 510 PT from madvapes.com but many suppliers sell them just make sure you get the right adapter to do the right thing. HOWEVER - without an adapter 901 parts will not fit a 510 and vice versa.
As for storage - of course make sure its out of reach of kids - otherwise you can store them in a cup (like a glass of something, with the cart end up so the bridge of the atty doesn't dry up), thrown on a desk (my personal fave lol) - really any place thats safe and that you're not going to forget.
And guys, with all due respect, the OP didnt say he was a NON smoker, he smokes, he wants to try PVs (and apparently ha 2 already) - if he's got enough will power to stay off cigs except at certain times i'm sure he can manage his PV habit without becoming a raging nic addict..
