I just ordered a 5 pack of Riva LR attys to use with my Ego system. I had used the Ego LR atty but it died very quickly so I decided to try the Riva ones. I thought it was just the taste of primer and it would go away, or that one of the 5 attys was bad. But I tried 3 of them and they all taste horrible and are burning my throat. I'm afraid to clean them cause that's when my other LR atty died.

Has anyone had this problem with Riva LR attys. I'm very frustrated cause I've been vaping for 6 months and I still haven't found something to stick with that is reliable!! UUUUGGGHHH!!!

Help Me!

I had some riva atomizers and they all tasted crappy until I boiled them for a while and let them dry. After that, they were fine. I'm using one of the originals right now for over a month. Just a few drops. No cartridges.
I mostly use cartomizers. Boge LRs and they produce very well consistantly. Not the great vape of the drip but close enough for me. :)

Ok, cleaning them (although I was nervous to do so cause last time I cleaned a LR atty, it died) helped a bit. Still not great but not burning my throat as much. Now, one that I cleaned (I cleaned 2 of them) is not working. I put it on the battery to dry what was left in there (2 pushes of the button) and then the battery light stared flashing. Same thing for my passthrough (and it was connected)---WHAT does this mean????

I don't know what the blinking lights mean but if you afraid to clean them, just let it air dry overnight. Then prime it with your liquid and vape away. Get a multimeter and use it on the atty. That will tell you if its dead for sure. I use LR 510s for my daily vape but use standard for RY4 cuz that TH is harsh with LR for me. I plan on getting 1-2 attys a month that way I always have a stash and keep rotating. I usually clean 5 attys at a time.
