I never thought I'd like manuals, having to find & press that silly button each time. But then, I never thought I'd like any battery other than the shorties. Yesterday I received the new manual diamond regular length batteries that I accidentally ordered, thinking they were autos. And yes, I am loving them - though I still hate having to find & press that silly button each time.
So here is a typical Katz non-scientific review and some questions:

What I like is that the amount of vapour I get doesn't seem dependant on how hard I can inhale. I seem to be getting more TH, warmer vapour and even a more intense flavour.
Overall it's a more relaxing experience because I press the button, hear the strangely satisfying sizzle of the wow cart activating, inhale, allow the vapour to go to my lungs, then watch oodles of vapour when I exhale. Blissing out sitting on the deck vaping, probably overdoing the nicotine because I don't want to put it down.
Another weird thing (which again seems to be a Katz-specific thing), if I use an auto shorty diamond, the carto lasts as long as the battery, I have to change carto at the same time as the battery. If I use an auto regular diamond, the carto still lasts as long as the battery. I haven't had my manual regular diamond long, but I have just switched battery (which was flashing) and carto at the same time.
This makes no sense to me. What is going on here, with the battery+carto time thing? How can a carto either last only as long as an auto shorty or as long as a new regular manual?

Do manuals make the vapour warmer and give better TH ? Is it just the new diamond manuals? Or my imagination? If I used a shorty manual diamond or an XL manual diamond, would it change any of my experiences?
It's so funny that even after a year (9 months of V4L), I am still making new discoveries (which usually occur after I've ordered a heap of what was working before, of course )

Ms. Katz science can/can't answer your questions. Numbers wise the autos actually run hotter at start than the manuals, but because you're priming the hit before drawing (pressing the button before inhale) could explain the vapor warmth and extra th. As for the juice lasting as long as the batt, can't explain at all. On a shorty manual kd have to refill before the batt dies, regular about 2/3's of the way through, and on an xl get 2 refills before death using a wow carto on average. Ms. Katz there's always something new in the vaping world, no matter how short or long you learn something every day. :)
