I just got mine! I'm using it right now and this thing is nice!!! I love the newly designed cord. Very securely anchored! I break everything, but I'm not sure I could break this!

kd, i just got mine, and already put my old one up, but it's ~4 feet long (without extending) so it's definitely got some cord to spare. 
Thanks just curious, cuz at my office my tower is not right under my desk so I can't even lean back in chair and vape as it is. It needs to be at least as long or longer. And of course I don't have a measuring tape so I don't even know how long this one iskd, i just got mine, and already put my old one up, but it's ~4 feet long (without extending) so it's definitely got some cord to spare.
Kd, I'm thinking you could def pull it off. I just stepped on the plug part and extended it as high as I could. It hits my nose. (I'm 5ft 1)
if not---you got a powerstrip near there? i don't even use my PT in my lappy port at all anymore, i have wall adapters stashed all over the house. and yes. in my purse, too.

The cord is long enough, I was a little worried, but the straight part of the cord is plenty long.
The cord itself is thicker also.

i just wanna say, aside from the fact that these look sturdier, which obv they do, i also think they look much nicer. the whole ash-cap-with-...... in it was kinda ghetto. i can say that now that the new ones are in, right?
val, given the last round of PTs, i am highly tempted to like, tape this one into submission and cover it with bubble wrap... but i am going to resist to see how it holds up to you know, normal use. *crosses fingers*

My old one is dying badly. Only really worked for a week or so....but I just HAVE to have a USB passthru. So I just ordered the new version along with some other stuff. One order enroute already....another just in the pipeline. I really need to get organized here and make larger single orders.
maxx, it took me a while to 'get organized' but now i'm set for a good while... at least, until they come out with the VK1. and yeah, i HAVE to have a USB PT too, mmmmm.
Got my new PT today. Love it! It's sturdy and powerful - I'm going to order another for the car.
I was gonna hold off until the autos came out, but I just broke my only auto PT today. Funny is cause I was bragging about how it had worked fine this whole time. I think I burned it out when I tried to mod this 501 to KR8 adapter to work with the auto lol
I miss my PT after only a couple of hours
So I can't wait to get this new one I'll still definately get an auto when they come out though...at least I'll have a spare in case it breaks on me!

I really like the new PT, very rugged yet still compact.
I'd love to see a version with a fully coiled wire, though, for my truck.
