I just recieved my 1st mech. The lunar. Loving it! I have an issue which I hope someone can assist me with. When I adjust the top positive pin for battery rattle it fires when I put it together. This is probably an error on my part but I am unsure. When watching reviews they say to adjust to get your battery snug. But when I do it fires on its own. Any suggestions?

Yes.. It looks like the negative pin is sticking out past the o ring

Well that would explain auto-fire.

Is the negative threaded in any way? Ie has it loosened up and needs to be re-tightened?

Im having trouble finding information about if/how the switch comes apart.

I would start by taking the button off the mod then depress the button with one finger and use another finger to try and thread in the negative contact.

See if it seems threaded or if it just wants to spin the whole button.

I was able to loosen the negative pin. I have it tightened all the way down. Same issue

Hmm interesting and unfortunate.

I would probably try to carefully disassemble the button, including removing the o-ring if its not glued in etc, and investigating if there is residual metal or something inside that contact that's not allowing it to screw down all the way.

You also could just try pulling out the o-ring (if possible) and reseating it to confirm it hasn't moved/deformed in some way.

I will try that. Thank you so much for your help. :)

Since it's brand new and not a cheap mod, i'd probably contact the vendor and see what kind of resolution they offer, you shouldn't be having these issues.

For a try at a quick fix, you could always hit up the hardware store and try to find a bit thicker o-ring that still will fit in there, while sitting high enough to stop the auto-firing. Or you could try to find a thin delrin washer with the appropriate inside/outside diameter and thickness and essentially set it on top of the o-ring to space it out. Definitely not ideal though.

Lets us know if you figure it out/get a resolution.

Best of luck!

Thanks.. the vendor actually just called me and he thought the same thing and is going to send me a new O Ring. I emailed the site earlier. That's great customer service. I would say who but I am not sure it is allowed to say who they are in this forum . New O ring it is.

Good to hear, hopefully that will resolve the issue, but if not seems like a decent vendor.

And yes, you can name names as long as you're not directly affiliated with the company your discussing/trying to promote their product for your gain.
