Hey all, my wife and I quit analogs last year for about 6 mos. then started back on tobacco due to our 808 batts (cig2o) losing life and being a pain. Going to try again with a passthrough and some new batts. Bought a yeti 510 kit last year too but never could get the TH I was getting off the little cig2o with the 510. Might have been because the juices I bought were VG but it seemed that it was futile to keep trying after a while. Looking for options to expand my vaping beyond the 808 disposable cart range, I really want to be able to fog my head out and get that good TH, without that horrible stink of smoke I have had on me for the last 21 years.

Hi there.

I've smoked for ony about 5-6 years a pack a day sometimes more. My first kit was a blu cig kit with replaceable cartridges and a PCC. I found immediately the vape I was getting was just not enough and it was the same with the TH.

I then turned and bought a better PV and I know it's def not the best out there but for the performance and money I don't think I could have done better... I picked up a KGO kit with 2 batts 2 ego vision clearomizers and bought some juice. I ordered 100% VG juice...then some 60pg/40vg mix. I found the vg juice didn't quite burn as hot as the pg mix (both were 24mg) and that the PG/VG mix at 60/40 was GREAT because I got a really nice throat hit and a nice plume of vapor. The kit was 42.99.

I'm no vape guru though as I've just started myself but I had a very good experience with the said above products.

I smoked for 23 years and tried every type of electronic cigarette out there. I am currently using a GLV 5v mod and have been analog free for 11 months (longest amount of time EVER!!) I've found that all vg liquids don't taste as good as a 50/50 or a 60/40 mix. The hit I get from my GLV is amazing!! I don't miss the analogs at all! They aren't cheap, but the one of the nicest things is they have a life time warranty. :)

What is a GLV? I'm looking to get something more substantial than the 808 as far as batt life and power, and looking for what you described, good vapor and awesome TH. And I don't mind investing in a good vape, since the analogs are killing me with price anyways... any tips on which vendors or products would be appreciated.

Scoop i know how you feel, I had started with a mall kiosk 808 alike, I eventually figured out that a Joye type egot-T was the way to go, these models come with a bigger battery (650mah-1100mah) and if you invest in some LR cartos, you will find that you will get the TH you are looking for. Hope this helps...

Take a look at Vaporgod.com - They have some the best prices on the net

I'd prefer something I can use on the go, dripping seems like it is more of a "leisure" method, I need something I can set up and have ready for an entire day, either driving or working outside or in the shop. I don't know how easy it would be to keep dripping while laying on the garage floor under a car or tractor with greasy hands or in traffic. Thinking maybe a tank? And I don't mind the cartos... They seem to be an easy way to keep a vape going while working.... Thoughts?

A good tank is awesome for on the go or at work. You don't have to refill it that often and I really like the taste I get from my dct tank. As far as dripping goes I do it, just not at work. More of an at home kinda thing. As for the PV do some research and find something that will work for you. I went from a cig2o to and EGO. This kit is pretty bare bones but it's a good price. Katana Kit

I used to vape for a couple of months and even DIY'ed a PV out of a Battery case using parts from my spolit Ego Batt. Eventually i stopped vaping a year ago due to the following:
1. I was using 510 cartomizers and dripping on atomizers. Eventually my atos gave way and i was left with a bunch of cartomizers and i hate the feeling of getting juice in my mouth when i over fill. If not, i hate the hassle of having to keep filling.
2. I still don't know what juice works for me. The menthol/mint i had isn't cold enough for me, the throat hit is a bit too hot etc... nothing like what a mint analog experience.
Recently, i had been smoking analogs heavily and chanced upon a friend who was vaping. I took 1 vape from his PV and wow, it taste and feels good! It was a minty blueberry flavour and the throat hit and temperature is exactly like an analog. There have been a lot of new improvements to the vaping technology from last time that will fix my concerns and hopefully, i can get back into this.

NJOY disposables for the grease situations.

Ego twist batteries that allow you to manually set the voltage youre vaping at and Vivi Novas from Vision seem to be a great low cost combination and close to the form factor youre used to.

Id suggest looking into them but be aware that people have had issues with Twist's not working after a fall. You can get them in stainless steel and being able to regulate the voltage means you get a consistent hit all day long. Kinda like that awesome first hit or two from a Yeti fully charged but on every puff.
