Hello All,
This is my first post to ECF. I have been vaping for a couple weeks now and I'm hooked. I smoked for 22 years and chewed tobacco for 33 years (Up until I received my first e-cig from a non-tobacco user in my family). It has been a whirl wind journey. Seem to be spending a bunch of $$ trying stuff out. The first one to start my vaping journey was a Joytech e-com twist. I like it alot. Its very discreet and gives great flavor. I then bought an eGo One. I didn't care for the atomizer so I bought an Aspire nautilus mini to replace the stock. Much better flavor. This last Friday I went to a local shop and walked out with my current setup. Pioneer4you iPV Mini v2 5-70watt along with a Kanger Tech Subtank Nano. It is very impressive and I am playing around with wattage to find the best flavor and inhale. I don't care for direct lung inhale. I like to do a pull on it more like a cigarette.

Any tips on wattage? .5 ohm or 1.2 ohm coil? looking for ultimate flavor and smooth hit.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I just got my IPV Mini v2 and Subtank mini this week, and I've settled on 20W for the moment with the 1.2 ohm coil. Seems like a good balance of vapor and flavor to me and it's working for both direct lung hits and mouth to lung (which I also prefer). I'm really enjoying this set-up and think I've found my sweet spot for now.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. I see on the Kanger box that they recommend 15-30 Watts on .5 ohm coil and 12-25 Watts on the 1.2. I'm currently running the .5 ohm at 15 Watts with River Reserve "Great Wall" 12mg nic. Its a 80vp/20pg. Seems to be very smooth. Playing around with increasing the wattage a little at a time.

Hi fishgod and welcome aboard!

That's the way to find the sweet spot for a setup and juice - start low and work your way up. It may be different depending on the juice, too.

Happy Vaping!
