New member and new to vaping - Trouble galore

Hi all,

I have bought the following in an attempt to quit the real thing:

Riva 1100mah battery
Boge 510 carts
Grizzwalds e juice

Now I have fully charged the battery, loaded the carts properly so they are fully moist but I am getting very little any vapour ?

There is a throat hit but very little vapour ? I can't quire see what I am doing wrong as I have followed all guides and tutorials down to a tee. I pre warm the coil, primer puff and yet still little vapour.

Any help ? It's been 2 days and I'm itching to back to the real stuff.

What kind of juice? High PG = little vapor. Get 100% VG

It is a 70/30 mix.

is the cart gurgling or crackling when you try to draw? Crackle=working right.. Gurgling=too much juice-blow some out onto a paper towel and wipe out the connection and try again

My first juice was 70/30. I was wondering why I couldn't blow clouds like everyone on the youtube videos. Then I got some 100% and was blowing clouds.

Make sure you haven't overfilled your cartos. Try blowing a tad out into a paper towel and then make sure your contacts are nice and dry on the battery and the carto. Also, make sure that your contact pin on you battery isn't shoved down to far(this happens sometimes by screwing into your charger to hard). You can gently wiggle it up with a paperclip. DO NOT TWIST IT lol. Just lightly pry until you notice it;s a hair higher. Throat hit with no vapor sounds like wet\poor contact to me. Hope this helps!

There is vapour, just very little.

What ohm cartomizers are you using? Usually they're 2 or 3 ohm. The lower the ohm the more heat it will produce. More heat=more vapor.

Even after all this time I still soak my contacts accidentally. I notice that my hits are dry with little vapor and that it usually makes me cough. It could be that you have bogus boges too I guess. I've read that every once in a while that happens ( as with any ecig gear).

Probably just the mix your using. Try a 50/50 mix

Once you get the mechanicals worked out~ flooding, wattage, etc., then you have to master technique to produce vapor. Not all devices hit the same and you have to control airy-ness and vapor production. Hope my point gets across.
Great advice that I was given:

... As to the vaping itself, try and picture dad, grandpop or similar in the garden in his deckchair on a summers day philosophically smoking his pipe. That is press battery button as you bring it to your lips, take a couple of 2-3-4 second inhales (whatever is comfortable), hold in your mouth, savor the flavor, inhale if you wanna, don't if you don't then exhale through the nose (or mouth, personal preference again). Vaping is a longer term experience like a pipe vs, having a quick smoke behind the shed kinda thing. Good luck!

For me it was like second nature by the end of the day. Blowing clouds at 50/50.
