Im hoping I havent made a mistake and got the atomizer version when I should have gone the carto route...ARGHHH!!!!
Filler is flush to the edge, thats fine. Edges, I dont know if they were lined up or not, but nothing is burnt so that is OK. I lined them up.
I havent tried dropping onto the bridge of it yet, I will try that later. The kit in total cost me £41, about 60 dollars or so, thats with a usb charger and a bottle of cherry 11mg liquid. Yes, that might be a bit low, but it is killing my throat when i take a deep slow drag, and I dont get that much vapor.
Also, I have another silver bit that looks like an atomizer, but it doesnt have a bridge or anything, and I presumed that was for charging? but you can charge without this "extension"....haha this is so frustrating!!
Sorry!
K
Hmmm... Not sure about the silver bit.
Cartos have their own pros and cons. I do think they are less fiddly, but they can certainly go wrong too. If you really can't get this working how you want, you should certainly look into 510 cartomizers.
So, more stuff to try.
How long have you been using that atomizer? If it's been more than, say, 2 days, it could be a bit gunked up, and the "harsh" might be baked on juice.
In that case, try an alcohol soak.
Get 70%+ ispopropyl alcohol, and drop the atty in. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then lift it out, with the atty facing up. Watch the alcohol drain out the bottom. You're looking for a stream.
If it's still "dripping," dunk it back in the alcohol, lift it out again, atty facing up, and let it drain. You should start seeing a stream come out the bottom after doing this a few times.
Set it in a well-ventilated area (like in front of a fan) to dry overnight. In the morning, take a sniff of the atty. If you can't smell alcohol, it's dry.
If you haven't been using the atty for long... it's entirely possible that it's you.
Smoking damages the cilia in your nose, throat, and lungs. Ever coughed up a lung when you yawned in a hot shower? The same thing can happen when you start vaping...
The droplets of moisture don't get trapped by your cilia, because they aren't working right. So it lands directly on your tissue, and your brain thinks you're drowning, so you cough.
This took about 3 or 4 days to go away for me - but I'm young and only smoked for a few years. For some, it can take a little longer.
Atty vets, any other ideas?
