How do I clean my vaporiser?

I recently bought a Vaporiser on Amazon, its the 'Inspired Vapour 1100MAH' however it didn't come with any instructions whatsoever!
I figured out how to put the liquid in by myself but now I can't figure out how to clean it to change the liquid to a new flavour. I have watched many tutorials online but they all seem to be able to take theirs apart fully. I can only remove the top part from the battery and remove the drip tip. I'm scared to clean it without taking it apart incase I break it or can't dry it properly then I ruin the wicks. PLEASE HELP!

Names of starter kits are next to meaningless, because I don't want to do a google search to figure out what you have. You describe a battery and ask about an atomizer. What do you need to service the battery or the tank? A pic would help. Some disposible tank can not be cleaned and can only be refilled via the drip tip, ala CE4 and 5.

Hi Bethan and welcome to the forum. From google it appears you have the basic starter tank. The top fill tanks like the CE4 & CE5 models are pretty much antiquated. I had CE5's for about 10 days. In my opinion, they are pretty much "don't waste your money on them and throw them away when you have a problem". With the CE5 I had the bottom ring can unscrew to let old juice out. You have to be careful not to damage the o ring when you put it back together. On the starter tanks it's next to impossible to "clean", as the wick will still have old juice in it.

I'd suggest an upgrade to something like the Aspire ET-S glass or Kanger EVOD glass, as some juices are known to crack the plastic tanks. I use Aspire Nautilus Mini's and am very happy with them, but every vapor has their favorites, or what works for them. Good luck.

O rings are the little rubber rings that seal other things tightly :)

BTW - no such thing as stupid questions, if you dont know something, the only way to get to know it is to ask! and dont be afraid of asking here at ECF!

Thanks! There are a couple included with each of my protank 3 but I didn't use them. Maybe that's why my tanks leak?

Welcome Bethan.

I found your e-cig and it has a disposable tank on it. You can drain them when changing flavours and if totally desperate rinse them out and dry them for 24 hours on a radiator, but they aren't really worth the bother.

I hope you paid the price I saw it for... what a cheap starter e-cig! :)

How about buying a nice new tank when it's done. You could get one with replaceable heads, like these..

You apparently have a disposable tank (clearomizer); it becomes a throwaway after about a couple of weeks or less. More modern clearomizers can be taken apart to allow you to remove the old "coil head" and replace it with a new one once you notice a burnt taste or a lack of flavor.

When I used clearos back in the day, I simply rinsed them under tap water and allowed them to air dry. Then I'd refill them. You don't necessarily need to wash the tank with each flavor change. If a "like" or similar flavor (like a fruit for a fruit flavor), just add the new flavor.

My first CE4 lasted under 24 hours. Dekang Vanilla liquid killed it off.. :)

What was annoying was that I'd resisted using it for the first 3 weeks, as my eGos came bundled with boge cartomizers.
