Hi guys, I'm a 22 year old who has been smoking cigarettes for a couple years now. I just recently got into the e-cig/vape scene and I enjoy it a lot more than smoking analogs, due to health reasons. I just got my volt starter kit about a week ago and I really enjoy it.

The catridges it came with don't seem to be lasting very long.. Is this normal? Maybe I puff on it too much :glare:

Anyway, I never knew such a forum existed, and I'm happy to be here and to learn more about e-cigs and how to fully enjoy them.

Cartos generally last for the equivalent of puffing on 6-8 analogs depending on how you vape. Get some juice for refilling instead of buying prefilled cartos. Prefilled also don't last as long because they are not filled with as much juice as they can actually hold.

First of all, welcome to ECF!

What kind of e-cigarette are you using at the moment?

thanks for the suggestions guys, i'm using the volt e-cig starter kit along with everything that came along with it. my cartomizers seem to be getting very harsh after only like 2-3 days. I feel that I don't puff on it often, but it seems to die quickly. I'll try out the liquid /w the blank cartridges.

I suggest getting a set of Phoenix cartomizers from gotvapes. They are similar to a carromizer, but are clear, have no filler, last longer and dean be refilled several times. I actually put a video on YouTube about the volt products and the Phoenix. Thats what I use. Here is the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELM4QhceR7o

Also, another question for volt users out there.. How long do the batteries last? Do they show signs of being low on battery? What symptoms should I look for? I've never had my battery run out before cause I charge it every night.

The 65mm will give you about 2-3 hours, the 78mm 3-4 hours, the x2 7-14 hours depending on which model.

Here is a spreadsheet to help you calculate. It's not exact because There are many variables, but it's pretty close. https://www.filesanywhere.com/fs/v.aspx?v=8a70688a5e626dad9ca5

Remember the battery will all depend on how you vape. I can use a 78mm up n an our, or I cam have it last 5 hours. Just like an analog, you may occasionally vape differently. When I smoked, there were times when I puffed that thing down in under a minute

Welcome to ECF!

If you should decide to switch up brands due to your increased vaping needs. I'd suggest a 1300mAh battery. Will last you most of the day if not longer. I use an 808 threaded 1300mAh batt with a 3ml dual coil cartomizer and I can vape it for about 36 hours give or take. And, I'm a pretty heavy vaper in my opinion. :)

I don't know if this is true for yours, but I start to get less vapour on my 65mm after a bit of regular use, even with a topped up carto. Pop it in the charger and sure enough, 1 bar. I'm going through around 3 charges a day though, it sounds like you're doing fine with one.

The last few puffs will have less vapor. The volt batteries are designed to stop vaping when they get to 3.2v. This way you never fully discharge your battery and it stays constant throughout
