Persevere and Congratulations for taking the first steps!

A few things I learned before and after I got off the stinkies. (everyone is different)

I was left partially satisfied nicotine wise with my first equipment (green smoke) and found myself smoking 3, then 5, then 7, etc. cigs a day. Seeing that that was not going to do it, I found this forum and did a lot of reading. After I got different equipment and learned how to vape for best nicotine absorption (into mouth before inhaling) my nicotine needs were satisfied, that was not the end of it. There are many chemicals that your body is addicted to from cigs besides nicotine. For me it took several days for my body to get over all the time wanting the "calm" feeling (best way I can explain it) I wasn't getting with nicotine alone. It took a couple of weeks for my brain to adjust during which I was still occasionally tempted to have a cig during which I chain vaped. After over a month now I do not have any want at all for cigs. Also you will need to find your preferences in eliquid. Not only strength but also taste. I found tobacco flavor sickening after vaping non tobacco flavors for a week. Took me many flavors, but I now have 5 or 6 flavors that I can vape all day with 2 or 3 in rotation at a time. At one point my taste buds took a week off (seems to be common after quitting cigs), so I vaped some of the juices I didn't find to be my favorites because my taste was muted.

Hope this helps if you find yourself with any of the same transient feelings.
