Still a fairly new vapor user here - been vaping for a little over 3 months now. Still struggling to find something I like. I used to smoke MB Lights (non-menthol). Initially, I didn't like most tobacco flavors I tried. I thought they tasted awful. It might have been partially due to a mental block thinking that if I vaped anything that tasted like a cigarette, I would get into the mindset of 'why not a cigarette'?

So, I have been stuck on sweeter flavors. Thinks like candy and soft drinks (Mt Dew, Gummy Bears, etc). I like a lot of what I have tried/found. However, I haven't found anything that I would claim as MY one or two flavors. I'm still searching for something that makes me jump up and say "THIS is it!!" and satisfy my craving.

Are there other former 'light' smokers out there who didn't like tobacco firewall flavors and if so, what have you found?

I started locally (we have 3 brick and mortar stores nearby) not knowing what I didn't know. I have since found several sites in other locations that I purchase from via the web (mostly compliments of this site). However, ordering blind has been hit or miss. Some things I have liked, some have been ok, and some I have unfortunately just ditched after receiving and sampling.

I was lucky enough to have someone share some of their five pawns "Bowdens Mate" recently. Wow! It was really good. However, I had severe sticker shock. $27.50 for 30ml. Don't think I could do that regularly from a pure financial perspective.

I'd suggest an RY4, or look into some fruit flavors, and sweets like vanilla, caramel, chocolates. I used to smoke Marb Reds and 27s, and part of the curing process I have heard they use sugar water, chocolate, and vanilla depending on the manufacturer to promote more nic out of the leaf, so take that into consideration when looking for a couple flavors to vape all day for a long time until you find the next wow flavor. hth

I smoked ultra lights and I hate all tobacco flavors I've tried. I only vape dessert and sweet flavors. My current favorites are Cinnamon Roll and Sticky Buns from Mount Baker Vapor. I also like Yellow Custard, Citrus Plasma, and Green Caramel from Yaelig and I'm waiting for 4 more flavors to arrive. Both places are very reasonably priced. MBV costs me about $12 for 50ml and Yaelig is currently running a sale for $18 for 100ml. The only problem with Yaelig is that it takes a while to arrive because it comes from Israel. But, it is by far some of the best quality liquid I've had. Shipping is a little high from Yaelig also, unless you order $50 or more.

Taste is so subjective that no one is capable of saying what you will like. The best we can do is suggest what we like.

I DiY most of my juice, 50c for that 30ml is a lot more palatable. (just food for thought for when you become more familiar with vaping)

I find that I like nut flavors like Hazelnut or peanut, and exotic fruit flavors like Papaya or Mango, and then there's Apple. There are more variations of Apple flavors than you can count.

My first flavor was The Caterpillar Vapor - Ace of Spades which I fell in love with, my first and foremost pick up to this day, but then Villain Vapor - Full House and Uncle Junk's - Honey Do also became a valid choice, and after awhile I came to like The Standard Vape - Cell Block 4. I have Jameson Irish Juice for special occasions, with Forbidden Fruit and Amelia. Great juices to use with an RDA

Back when I was searching for the elusive "tobacco" flavor, the closest I came to finding one that tasted like pall malls was from freedomsmokeusa .com I hear their other tobacco flavors are spot on also. I have since moved on to other flavors as I now don't want anything that tastes like tobacco.

    My 2 cents
    :)
