When my boyfriend bought some Volt automatic ecigarettes in an effort to help us quit smoking, I scoffed at him and continued smoking a pack a day. I thought ecigarettes were lame.
But I eventually came around to the idea. The thought of saving money and being much less stinky was appealing. Additionally, in my line of work, smoking is vilified to the extreme. I was always incredibly self-conscious when I smoked near coworkers. The thought of a client smelling cigarette smoke on me was horrifying.
Fast-forward a bit, and it's been 3+ months since I had a cigarette, and I'm never looking back. My self-confidence and back account have gotten considerably larger!

I'm currently using a Volt X2 650 mAh Manual Battery with polyfill cartomizers that I refill with liquid until they get burnt out. I just ordered two Kanger Mini Protank 2's, and I'm researching for a sleek, relatively small VV/VW mod.

I can't wait to continue my vaping journey and learn from everyone here!

Welcome to the forum. Glad that you have quit smoking, congratulations! I know how it is to be a smoker in a non smoking community. My smoke pit here is about a mile away, from there you take a bus out in the county where no one can see you. Damn pink lungs!

While I am a pink lung again, I still need my fix, I just have a hobby to back it up now!!

You're the second person to recommend this device to me! I love that it has both eGo and 510 threads. The price is right, and 800 mAh would last me two days. I just don't like the way it looks. Maybe I could customize it with a wrap, or paint it with nail polish?

Welcome to ECF. And let me be the third to recommend the itaste. Spinner/Twist work nice also, but are limited to VV only. On the plus side you can get a Volt Spinner.

I've only tried Smokeless Image juices. I do have an order from Hurricane arriving in a week or so -- Sunset Cavendish, Belgian Simmered Tobacco, and Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, yum. The Kanger ProTank Mini 2's I have coming should make switching and sampling juices much easier than my sad, polyfill cartomizers.

If you click the first link I posted, you will see the itaste comes with a charger, a little different style than the ego. I really don't know if you can use the Ego charger on the itaste, maybe a wart from the ego, but I would hesitate to try it on a brand new device.

I had to chuckle - i thought the same thing when my local smoke shop showed me the iTaste MVP.

Me: Can't you dress that thing up? Who wants to look like they're vaping from a small metallic walkie talkie anyway?
