Seanl - I haven't tried dripping, but have some attys coming to start ..... I'm tired of having to fill cartomizers to try juices that are not so tasty. (I have gone thru alot of cartomizers) Folks say dripping is an easy way to test new juices .....
I also have a mod coming that has top and bottom feed so I have to learn what those are .....

I bought 1 cartomizer just to test.
It's not so bad but loses the easy draw and strength quite quickly.
I actually found sticking the end that goes onto the battery into an air pipe and using low pressure air to blow it out for about 5 minutes got the draw back quite well, but the hit never got back to the original.
