Found the site today and have been doing a considerable amount of reading and there is a ton of information here. As a smoker of 17 years or so, I figured it's time to stop. In doing my research, I discovered "vaping" and discovered a brick and mortar store across town that carries Ego products. I'm going to try and swing by there after work and hopefully join the ranks of the ex-smokers very soon.

Anyways...great site, hope to learn a lot from the veterans here.

good luck dude.
i smoked for around 24 years, ... free for 6 wks now, it has been easier than i expected.
not as cheap as i thought, i tend to get carried away with kit and flavours, but its been worth every single penny.

What, 20 a day? Your history is virtually identical to mine, lol. The last 6 weeks since I gave up the cancer sticks has just flown by, I just wish I had taken the leap earlier.

Hi neighbor and welcome! I live just across the river in Jeffersonville. I'm pretty new to vaping myself. Friday will be three months smoke-free for me. From my first vape I enjoyed it so much more than smoking. Hope you have the same experience.
Let us know what you think of the local shop; and keep us updated on your progress. Best of luck to you!

Thanks again to all.

I went by the shop after work and picked up the starter kit which included a pair of Ego 650mah batteries (labeled as MAXX?), usb charger, bottle of fluid, etc.

I upgraded to the Cyclone cartomizers, not exactly sure of the benefit, but here's what they look like...

Also picked up a couple spare bottles of fluid as well.

I've hit it a few times today, and haven't had a smoke yet. I'm hoping for the best.
