Hi everyone! I am new to vaping as I just switched over from Blu e-cigs. My hubby bought me a VaporX I guess its called a cartomizer? I thought it was a permanent thing but have just realized that the cartomizer tank that has the threads built in needs to be replaced at least twice a month. So right now I am just trying to find out information about different types of equipment. Any thoughts are welcomed!

Hello and welcome, if you bought their starter type kits. They are clearomizer like a ce4 or evod depends on the kit.

The ego batteries are good starter batteries, I would upgrade the tank to something you can replace just the coils like a pro tank mini version. Look around your area and find a local shop and ask them to advise more and get some juice too.

Do you think I will have a problem running a cinnamon Danish or lemon custard through my clearomizer tank? I'm pretty sure it's plastic not Pyrex

There's a chance, especially if you leave it sitting in the tank. Cinnamon and acidic flavors are no good for plastic. There's some other flavors you should stay away from but I can't remember off the top of my head. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I guess I thought since they were more bakery blends it would be ok? Does anyone know if the 510 cl clearomizer tanks from vaporx are Pyrex? I looked on their site but it does not say

Their available starter kit tanks are not pyrex. Cinnamon, Citrus, Cola/RootBeer will all destroy your tank. There is a chemical reaction between ingredients in these flavors and the plastic tanks that will cause the plastic to fog and eventually deteriorate.

You can go with something like the Evod Glass for an inexpensive pyrex tank that is compatible with your battery :)

If you like cartomizers but would like a nice tank you could try the Mini Aspire Nautilus. The coils have been updated to BVC's. Some are comparing the Mini to a cartomizer....taste-wise.

The tank is made of pyrex/glass so you can vape anything in it.

I'm using the 5ml Aspire Nautilus with the BVC and am really enjoying the flavor it gives me.

Good Luck to You...Happy Vaping!!!

Hi I just wanted to take the time to welcome you. As far as equipment I suggest you go to your local vape store and look around at all the devices that are available. Or you can look online at some equipment from a good vape shop to get a idea on what's out there. A good online shop to look through might be my vape store.com. you can see the various equipment and a full description of that equipment. There really is so much it's best to browse with your own eyes. Most say start with the ego but I find most out grow the ego rather quickly so I would suggest starting with something like the mvp. It will allow you to grow with it. It has variable volts and watts so you can turn it up or down and customize your experience with different juice flavors and the battery will last you a good long time. You can Google the mvp2 and see what you think of it. It's really a great starter device. I hope this helps.
