Well my issue is that I've been getting really bad tasting hits recently, I had my mod and rda set up at a shop about a month ago, but recently I've been getting this weird mettalic, tasting flavour, i have a sqounk mod so the first 2 or 3 hits are fine but after that its pretty disgusting.

I also need to mention that i dry hit the coils when i had to re wick, but it was at a very low wattage (30) and it wasn't for very long (5 seconds max)
How many watts do you usually vape at?
What ohm coils are in your RDA? And which type of wire do you use? Eg. Ni80, ss316L or other?
My guess would be the wire type as I've noticed a difference between them all myself and as said b4 I have never used a Pulse RDA

I usually vape @ between 45-55 WattsHow many watts do you usually vape at?

Dual coils, running at 0.16 ohms
I don't know the material the wire is made of.
Try and find out what wire your using.
The only 'metallic' taste I ever had in my RBAs was from using stainless steel wire, ss316L.
Now I only use nichrome, Ni80.
And all I can taste is flavour flav

There are a bunch of things that could be happening so we need to eliminate stuff.
1. Iirc the pulse is a gold plated atty. if there’s a hole in the gold covering you could be experiencing the under metal. Are you seeing any hole or rust spots?
2. Did you change your juice? It could be a juice is causing it.
3. What coil are you using? Material and coil type could be important, especially if you are using TC
Welcome. You need to figure out your wire. Did it come with the atomizer. If so I would be guessing it's kanthal but get your own wire/coils to be on the safe side.. As, you cannot vape with wattage mode with titanium or nickel wires, it gives of nasty biproducts.
It is possible your coil has reached the end of its useful life, how long has it been in there?

May Produce more Dry Hits
May be less healthier - higher temps.
May Produce Spit Back
More PV Maintenance/Issues
More irritation to non vapers (tends create more negative comments regarding cloud production)
