Hey everyone, I just discovered this forum yesterday, and I wish I had found it sooner! I've been vaping for about two months now, and unfortunately it has been using the Blu cig.
Because of the advice I found on this forum, I ordered a Joyce510 last night and am really looking forward to an improved vaping experience!

Welcome to ECF, I also vaped for months with sub par e-cigs, I cut down to one pack from 2 but wasn't satisfied enough to give up my cigs. When I found this forum and got my 510 and some good juice, I quit by accident in 2 days, wasn't really expecting to quit but I did. After I was smoke free for a month I upgraded to the Joye eGo and love it. The 510 is a great starter just doesn't have good battery life but lots of flavor and loads of vapor, you will be happy with it.

Welcome to ECF, smithdl! I was lucky enough to find this forum before I placed my first order, and I have been vaping for about a month and a half. It's wonderful, isn't it? Don't forget to order juice!!! Otherwise you won't be enjoying your 510 long, lol. And the pre-filled taste horrible, IMO. Some like them....exactly how, not sure.

As a matter of fact I do have some juice! By luck I found VaporRenu as a source for ejuice a few weeks ago and got a bottle of mango juice. I loved it (even with my inconsistent Blu), and a few days ago I ordered a couple more bottles from Jason, hazelnut and wintergreen! Has anyone else tried VaporRenu?

Not me, but I have been on a seemingly never ending pursuit of juice i like, lol.

I finally found a coffee I like - FSUSA - espresso. Very good taste, low TH though.

I have never tried their juice but have read good reviews for them, I just started making my own juices this week and loving that.

First welcome to ECF, yes I have tried them and I have enjoyed their flavors and good customer service. Also check out Gourmet Vapor I order from them alot.

Welcome Smith, I too wish I had found this forum before purchasing Blu. Gone thru a couple of PV since the blu. KR8 manual and automatic PT and now just received a Riva 510. Hope all your vaping dreams come true and again welcome!

Quick question: I'm obviously interested in refilling my cartridges with fresh juice, but I doubt that the filler that comes with the cartridges is the best material to use all of the juice in the cartridge, and feed it all to the atomizer consistently. Is there any kind of material that you seasoned vets have found that can offer the best and most consistent vaping for a 510 type cartridge?

I have never done it because I use drip tips, but I have read that most people like the blue foam you get a pet stores that are made for aquariums. I am sure you can find a video on u-tube on how to cut it for your carts.

Welcome smith! Don't worry too much about the Blu, we all started somewhere. And there are people on here who swear by the Blu.

I think you'll be happier with the 510 though. The big thing is getting away from cigarettes and your well on your way. Stay after it!

I just read about a PTB mod called the "Rho mod". I'm wondering if anyone has tried this method and if it is preferable to the blue foam, or is the blue foam more effective with wicking and transferring the juice to the atomizer?

The PTB has many variations from what I've seen. Poke around in the forums and you'll find tons of info and videos.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the vape on your new 510

Hey guys I recently got a couple new bottles of ejuice from vaporrenu and I have seen that a lot of people say you need to let some Renu juices "steep" before really getting the best use out of them. What exactly does "steeping" mean?

Hi smith and welcome to ECF I almost got the "Blu" myself, my daughter posted a link to it on my facebook page... looked really slick! but being me I had to go out and research it to death and came across this forum, ended up with a 510 and loved it, have an eGo now and love it even more LOL all that aside, Its been over 7 months since I've had an analog!
