I finally registered, I quit smoking/started vaping 2 weeks ago and I have enjoyed reading/informing myself through the ECF and youtube reviewers like pbusardo, grimm green, and steeljan. Within a week of buying my ego, i had ordered a buzz pro haha,i know, kinda soon but fell in love with vaping. I have already turned 2 other smokers on to vaping and I'm so glad I tried vaping and that i found such a great community behind it.

@ yankee: Thanks, and congrats to you on picking up the provari, I have also noticed that the initial investment into vaping was more than i bargained for (trying out diff devices, juices, and access.)
@richard: Thanks man, my first day without cigs I made it till about 3pm and went to the gas station down the street and got my self a disposable for like 12$ lasted a couple hours, and that night i just started researching different vaping devices/vendors and finally came to the conclusion that I would be buying an ego and found myself a storefront that carried them in my area. Next morning, I was there when they were just opening and havent looked back since.

Its funny, i was struggling to decide between the provari, appolo Vtube (ss), and my buzz pro

Welcome to ECF! It sounds like you're way ahead of the game. Congratulations!

Hi dank0050, I'm so happy for you. It's so hard to stop smoking. I smoked for 46 years until I found e-cigs.

Hello new member, I'm a noob also so were both in the same boat. As an ex smoker of 19 years, I gave up the day I started vaping, says it all really lol. good luck on the forum!

I smoked 2+ PAD for 37 years. I never, ever, ever thought I would be able to quit. Once I got my first kit, it took me a couple of days to figure it out. And, that was it! End of story! Except, of course, the story of my life as a vaper (instead of a smoker). A much more pleasurable story!

Well done, and welcome! Vaping certainly is near-miracle. Kinda like smoking and not smoking at the same time. Pretty neat trick.

I like Grimm Green too, and even though I have a lot of stuff, I got some of these as well: (here it comes lol)

Cool stuff (IMO):

ProVari V2
Apollo SS VTube
Vivi Nova tank/atty
Bulli atomizer
eGoW carto
Smoktech DCT tanks (I like the 3.5ml chrome)
Boge single-coil cartomizers (don't use dual coils without a compelling reason)
Kanger horizontal coil cartos
Smoktech VMax (Wicked cool, unproven, about $100 batteries incl.) All About Vapor

I'm vapin rawr (serenity, antidote, and strawberry somethin) and highbrow (diablo cappacino & cheesecake tarte) still trying diff juices out...ordered a few more from rawr this time with 2% menthol. Wasnt a menthol smoker but from what I hear you cant go wrong with a tad(or more) of menthol on rawr.

I got the M1A1 tank from notcigs with my buzzpro and I really like it, no complaints whatsoever. Also, I've used low res attys but I have found cartos/tanks/clearos are my fave. Still havent tried dual coil yet (content w/ boge's 3ohm) but i plan to when i make my next carto/atty order.

I'm not addicted, I just like it .... a LOT. :)

And I can quit any time I want; I just don't want to. :p

OK, I'm addicted. So sue me. LOLOL

haha was thinking the same thing in my head. But, if it came down to it and they were banned tomorrow (knock on wood) I am positive that I would not resort back to analogs.

Funny you should just mention dual coils. I just posted this 5 minutes ago in another thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/313846-carto-question-2.html#post6645670

"Dual coils require twice the amount of power that single coils do to warm each coil to a given temperature.

Please do not use dual coils on ANY device without a compelling reason to do so.

Using a single coil will allow you to use higher voltage (assuming you have a variable voltage device) which will reduce the amp draw and extend battery life. If you use dual coils because you just think that two must be better than one, I'd encourage you to run some numbers and re-think that.

(Volts x volts / resistance = watts)

(Watts / volts = amps)

Lower amp draw = better battery life.

Great deals on Boge single-coil cartomizers:

Crystal Clear Vaping

Boge Mix n Match (5 Boxes) .92 each!

Great choice for a battery:

I also like the Apollo SS VTube, the ProVari V2, and the less-proven but very cool Smoktech VMax".

If you can cook your dinner on one burner instead of two, you'll save energy. If you vape on one coil, I think your "dinner" will taste better, too.

It's always seemed to me that both coils are unlikely to be equally well-saturated, one being above the other. They each get the same amount of energy, so they'll be about the same temperature. It seems to me that one will either make the vape taste a little burned, or be a little on the cool side.

Still looking for that compelling reason to use two. I get plenty of vapor with one.
