Ok, time to go into panic mode!!! So, after about 10 puffs of a dripped carton with JC juice of Artic Mint, I stopped getting vapour. I immediately took everything apart and blew out of the battery end of the vaporizer in hopes to clean it. I then quickly changed cartons to one of my last couple of njoy catridges, and still nothing!!!

I am going to do some more specific cleaning techniques and hopefully that will help! But I am currently in a rush to do everything to save it, so any advice would be greatly appreciated, but if you feel your response has been repeated many times, I will understand for not posting, as I will spend most of the night looking it up *pour some coffee

Oh dear, I hope that wasn't that dodgy batch of JC--they've since improved the filtering.

I think the big juice names should get together with Janty re. quality control vs. warranty. Personally I'd recommend going with the cheaper e-cigs to save money because replacing an atomiser for my mini wouldn't be the end of the world and the carts seem to cost only 1/3rd.

I've had my 901 for 12 days now and am on my 3rd cart, keeping it topped up with juice (supplier's own and Pillbox38's wicked).

Boil the atomizer for a few minutes and dry it out. I twist a piece of tissue paper and push it in the atomizer to soak the water from the heating element. As for JC juice, I have been using the new filtered verson for a couple of weeks now without issues except when I dripped directly on the atomizer. It died very quickly and had to be cleaned.

The Janties I bought for my wife and I have been very reliable except for atomizer issues that required cleaning. I have actually stripped off all the paint on one atomizer during cleaning experiments. It is still going strong though. If you are serious about e-smoking you need about 4 batteries, at least 2 atomizers, and 2 chargers. That way you can keep puffing when things go wrong.

I had an Njoy too and sent it back when I got my Janty. Can't see supporting a company that would gouge its customers as much as they do on cart prices. I buy empty carts from e-gic.com and fill them myself. Comes out to about $.50 a cart.

Hi, I think I have found the right place to ask some questions. I hear lots of people saying that you need spare parts for your e cigs. Do the burn out that quickly then, and how long should a good model last. I have a sedansa diva its about three weeks old and its doing very well, should I be investing in new parts for it so soon?8-o

If you are using electronic smoking full-time now and you are getting on all right with all of this I would personally by a couple more units as that will give you the spares you are going to need. Atomiser can go at any time but they seem to last around a month but the branded models used heavily don't seem to give you that.

Thank for the answer. So what’s the longest that you have heard of an e cig lasting for with no replacements? I don’t have the money right now to go buying lots of kit, so I will have to relay on the guarantee and a bit of luck. Cheers.

Time of death......

Ok, so, thanks Denni and Brian for both of your concerns as well as your tip Brian on cleaning. I didn't boil, as if I need to replace it they don't go "what the hell did you do this thing". But I did flush it with warm water several times, and several times, and several more times, as I have read that has helped many of the forum regulars.

I then used your method (Brian) of using a small piece of paper towel to carefully put in the atomizer to absorb much of the water after shaking it out. Next I ran a hair dryer on it with it's coolest setting and medium power. Then I placed it catridges side down for a few hours.

I "primed" the atomizer by placing a few drops of the juice straight onto the atomizer, and then placed a fresh njoy catridge in. I then set it down for about 15 minutes as I have read sometimes it needs some time to first absorb, and I figure it couldn't hurt. Then starting puffing, the light lid up, anddddd NOTHING! Kept puffing until I get a major headache, and nothing work, even tried changing batteries (during the time my atomizer has been dead I had the oppurtunity to charge both batteries) in hopes that a battery was the culprit, nope, nothing. Got a little juice in the mouth, but that was about it!

It's time for me to presume dead and take it to the morgue where I can have them replace it with a new infant.

As far as the JC juice goes, well, that's going in fridge to keep fresh until I can afford to order a few cheapies.

And a new atomizer is born!

I ran down to the store, and after a brief test for himself, the gentlemen kindly and quickly swapped the old atomizer with a new, placed my catridge back on, and handed back to me, oh what pleasure it was to e smoke again, although after smoking regular cigarettes a lot today (it was amazing that the stress brought on from the dead atomizer I actually ended up smoking more frequently than I usually do). I'm not quite getting that ol' "Nic Hit" that I use to get, could be that even though I haven't used this catridge, the time fiddling with it caused it to loose lots of it's juice, but still producing a good amount of vapor.

Now to shop around for a good and cheap e cigarette for my e liquids, right now I'm way over budget after buying the njoy and ordering the janty for my gf.

I think you should always have a spare atomiser and perhaps if you can afford it spare batteries so you're not waiting for replacements to come back in the post.


Your answer to the question regarding how long do they last?.
Because I have nearly every electronic cigarette brand out there I don't use the same device all day every day but saying that the sedansa, theJanty parts have not lasted me a month yet. The sedansa hasn't been very reliable at all cigarette and cigar. TheJanty classic kiss box is my main smoke but parts tend to wear off after two weeks which then I send off for replacements.


My partner has used a Generic for six weeks then the atomiser gave up and now the batteries aren't so good but she has had this welded to her mouth for the last six weeks which ain't bad at all

I strongly encourage you to, I think having local shops carrying e-cigarettes would solve a a lot of frustrations members of this forum encounter, such as having enough spare parts, running out of catridges before new shipments arrive etc.

Since the store I go to is open from 12 pm to 12 am, I honors the Njoy warranty, the atomizer dying out isn't a huge problem right now as I only have one e-cig. The owner has heard of a few manufactures, but I'm really suprised the one he hasn't heard of is Janty, so when I receive mine I'm going to bring it in to show him.

Received my Janty today! My gf was very pleased, and so was I! It is absolutely amazing, and you guys/gals weren't kidding when you said the Janty requires a very light draw. Sometimes it was almost to light to draw for my liking, after getting so use to the Njoy, but I'm sure once I order mine and get use to it, I'll love it. To me Janty has proven themselves as a great company, just waiting for the day the warranty is going to have to be used, to see how that goes.
