Hello all, Mispeld here. Pretty much new to this whole vaping thing. Smoked for 15 years, had tried a couple of the kits like Blu and did not care for them, battery died to quickly, taste was bad etc. Picked up a iTaste vv/vw last week but the battery wasn't that great for me. Since picked up the iTaste MVP which the battery life is a lot better. 10 days down without having a analog smoke, which is with testing myself on day two going out for a night of drinking. Kept with it and just vaped the night away.

Decided to make the switch to try and have better health, I play paintball and am an aggressive player but not being able to run without being completely winded at the end was sucking, huffing, and puffing.

Figured I would start here by doing the intro thing, start to prove I am not spam (I hate spam even the stuff that comes in a can)

Weclome to ECF! Glad to hear the MVP is working for you. Been loving mine ever since I bought it two months ago -- it's never failed me.

Did you get the itaste VV V3 with variable wattage and ohm checker? Always keep it charged for a back-up just in case.

Also, as a new vaper, find some liquids that you like (I know, it can be difficult), and rotate them throughout the day to keep the tastebuds active and lively. If you needs suggestions for liquid vendors, or question regarding anything else vaping related, we are all here ready to help.

Congratulations on quitting smoking!

MVP works pretty well, do wish it was vv/vw with ohm checker like the v3 but oh well maybe next time. Still not sure how I feel about the box shape, it makes me feel like I have one of the small Breathalyzer with me all the time. But I know logically I should wait to buy a new one but not sure if I can control it lol (was looking at the SVD).

As for the v3, I keep it handy as a backup or for when I want to switch flavors while sitting on the couch or in bed and still be lazy lol.

Flavor wise, I'm kinda over doing it. Bought I think nine flavors already to try. Started with M boro (which now just taste like a**), red bull, cola, buttered popcorn (nasty, wife chose for me try that one lol), and now my go to is a Jamaican rum and cola 50/50 mix which is pretty damn good.

Hi & Welcome!
Congrats on making the switch! I too, had concerns when going out and having a few drinks....word of advice, pack pleanty of charged batteries and up you nic mg juice a bit, just a bit if you're not already on a 36 or 24 I mean ....It will help! Bring a few spare components as well, just in case! ....and don't let anyone (also drinking) sway you back to analogs....they can keep that coffin *coughing* stick all for themselves! :vapor:

I'm glad to hear you like your MVP. I bought a SID since I can just swap batteries, but the negative side is that I can't seem to find a car charger for 18650s. I was thinking about getting an MVP specifically because it charges via USB.

I think the shape is kinda weird, too, but it seems like a nice piece of kit. Are you using a cover for the threading? I read that the MVP comes with a thread cover, but it should be swapped ASAP because it's threaded and you can twist it indefinitely without getting much resistance, which could lead to pulling the tip out of the box if you're not careful.

Just remember, if you don't like the juices you're currently using, there are much better liquids out there.

The new version of the MVP is due out in the fall. I lust after the SVD, but it's not within the vape budget right now. But I can help you out: Innokin iTaste SVD Express

That is a very tempting price, but I really should hold off. I'm a self proclaimed technofile, and love to buy new tech.

As for flavors, I am lucky my city has at least 3 vap shops so I do have a lot of flavors to try. The tobacco flavor thing is just that, I really don't like tobacco now. Took a hit off a coworkers cig and almost puked.

I'm using 510's so I did not need to put the ring on.

Welcome and congrats on the switch to vaping, your body will thank you for it! :toast:

At first I thought I'd never find that "one" e juice that would be my ADV but as I have found out, you don't need ONE e juice, I usually have about 4 setups with different juice in each so I can just switch up whenever I feel like it.
I currently have blackberry, strawberry banana, caramel coffee and mint choc. chip in my pv's so if I feel like something different I just change up which pv I'm using. Keeps it interesting and you don't get burned out on one flavor.

Hello all, new member trying to get in my 5 posts. I am a truck driver, and recently met another driver for my company that had an iTaste SVD. After talking to him and drooling over how awesome his PV was he brought out his kit and sold me my first little beginner kit; VOMO V2, Kanger Tank, another tank that is filled from the bottom(not sure what its called, two bottles of juice (peach tea & mojito), extra cartomizers/atomizers (I think) a few battery's for 25.00 bucks. Come to find out this was the deal of the century after going to a couple of Vape stores. It's been a week since I have smoked a cowboy killer and I'm having no problems at all. I wish I would have found this sooner. Been smoking for 17yrs now, and its amazing that just after a week I can breath so much better. He also turned me on to this forum in case I needed some help or supplies on the future. Looking forward to meeting new people and buying more mods, provari or like his the iTaste SVD ImageUploadedByTapatalk1374904842.791684.jpg
