Hey guys Im not sure if the rule is we have to post a certain amounts of threads or if replies work as well but either way may as well say whatup to everyone. My names Garrett and I live in orlando where the vape scene is really starting to grow which is awesome because we have 2 new local shops and im starting to see people with rigs left and right in the city. I smoked a pack a day for about 10 years and now Iv been off the "analogs" for about 3 months. I tried an old school setup from Volcano Ecigs back in the day but it seemed to only curb the appetite rather than really satisfy it so Im really happy that my new rig is working out for me and Im able to spread the word to people around me. I am looking to upgrade pretty soon and thats one of the reasons Im here is to learn as much as possible. Lookin forward to more talks.

I'm here, when I'm here
Health officials said there's been a spike in the number of nicotine poisoning caused by electronic cigarettes.
A report released by the CDC Thursday said the poisoning reports rose from one per month in 2010 to over 200 this year
I chain vape at 18mg/ml. What were the conditions? Oh! They don't say. Hmmmm.

Experts said nicotine in its concentrated liquid form is very toxic, even in small doses True. It can be if not handled properly

Poisonings occur after it's inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin. If you're vaping, drinking or getting the concentrated nic on your skin and not washing it off, well sure.

Officials said that more than half of the reports were for children 5 years old and under. Irresponsible parents. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!!

Articles like this kinds pi$$ me off. Can ya tell? They need to tell the whole story. Not just the condensed version.

ADD: www. wftv. com/news/news/health-med-fit-science/health-officials-say-nicotine-poisoning-caused-e-c/nfRwJ/ On this same page, there's a link about "Your water contains hidden heavy metals, discarded antibiotics, toxic chemicals, and infectious parasites that can, over time, lead to degenerative diseases, debilitating chronic pain, even cancer!" Why don't news agencies ride "water suppliers"? More people drink water than vape! I'm just sayin'.

When it comes to questions i dont exactly know where to start i think its gonna boil down to me just needing to navigate around and read up. In the most ignorant way of describing it possible i want to upgrade to one of those big ol telescopes that can continuously drag to produce big hits. Right now mine cant handle that and i dont know if that boils down to battery ability or atomizer durability. Trying to figure out the meaning if these "rebuildable" setups and whatnot. I dont necessarily want one where i drip directly on the atomizer i like the refillable tanks but i wanna hit it hard.

You definitely came to the right place. ECF has many vaping experts frequenting the New Members forum to provide help to new members/vapers, and there are dozens of other forums and sub-forums here in which they go into every detail of every aspect of vaping. I've learned more about the world of vaping (and yes, it's like discovering a whole new world) in the past two months than I even knew existed when I bought my Halo G6 kit back in January. And there seems to be something new to learn about it every day. I went the vaping route to find good health. I never thought I'd be finding a fun new hobby as well.

Enjoy the new world, my friend!

EDIT:
anyone seen this nonsense in the past couple days? looks like a big tobacco agenda to me or maybe just irresponsible journalism
There's a growing advocacy group that works to protect the rights of vapers and to disseminate FACTUAL information in the hopes of keeping the public at large CORRECTLY informed about vaping. It's called CASAA. Click the link in my signature to learn more about them and to sign up. It's totally free, and your membership will be GREATLY appreciated.
